Rams Cam Akers blown out Achilles and out for season. Gurley??

CFL Saskatchewan Roughriders did a first day of Camp medicine ball conditioning drill. Snapped 4 Achilles. 2 Sure starters and the first round pick. These guys are way too over tuned.

Le'veon or Gurley? I really don't know who's better...

You would think after the first or second, they would have gone to a beach ball.

The players said after that it was a regular drill they had used for years. I'd have stopped it after two. Water up boys. (For the rest of the session)

Man I thought Steelers when I saw the thread, phewwww.

Same here.

Gurley is done… supposedly that bone on bone thing from when he was drafted has pretty much ended him at 27… or so the rumor says… duke Johnson is the move i bet

Jackie MacMullan just said on Around The Horn that Benny Snell has been mentioned as someone the Rams may be interested in.

Yeah, baby. Make it so...for that 3rd (never happen, lol).

He wasn't being used properly. Bam! That's what happens.

Why would we trade a valuable backup from an oft injured position? If they offer a second, sure, other than that go pound sand snell will be the top backup here…

Yep. He consistently gets tough yards and is sturdy injury-wise. You don't let go of that IMO.

WIl he even make the team? If Canada liked Snell, there's no way they would have spent a 1st on a RB. McFarland is perfect for Canada's system and they signed Ballage. If Snell is the odd man out then get something for him.

Good grief what's in the water? I can't think of any standard medicine ball drill that would cause that. A bunch of people overtrained or on some bad sauce.

That injury sucks ***. Terribly debilitating.

Dude in my flag football league did his last night. Which really proves my point of the overtuned. In all the years of playing and refing that league this is the second I've seen in person. And these are 20,30 and 40plus year old guys. The Riders had 4 in a drill.

He was my #3 behind Henry and eckler. so I traded eckler and fiskler for James Robinson and Robby Anderson and his 1st. Then traded ackers for 2 2nds and K drake.
