A physical LT. I sense a theme here.

From the 'Maroon Goons' to the Black and Gold
Welcome to the Pittsburgh Steelers Dan Moore

This dude is massive...reminds me of what Wolf says about Webby..."he has legs for arms and humans for legs"...lol.

After reading about him, he's got good size and athleticism. A player who's grown over his career, but the key is the position versatility. You hope he can develop into a starter, but if not, all teams need a good backup and if he develops into that role, I'll take it.

Good move! He’s from my alma mater and that’s always a good thing.
Seriously, this guy just needs some NFL coaching and could be a starter. Hopefully our OL coach can coach him up.

I was listening to one of these so called analysts on ESPN who said the A&M lineman didn’t finish their blocks. Jeez! Did you see this guy plant his man in the dirt constantly from this video? How can you finish any better?

If he is only 6'5" and 315 he must have shrunk and slimmed down. He looks huge compared to the guys in that film and I totally agree about the finishing aspect. Watch the opponents legs buckling on some series and the imprint left on field when the play finishes. Dude plays until the whistle. **** the Anal ysts

He might have seen previous season's highlights. Apparently he has improved each year

Was a guy they definitely liked. He has that swing tackle third tackle feel to him. Not a bad pick and should be a good depth player.
Nice job. You had him listed in another thread as one of three guys the Steeler could be interested in in the fourth

When we went to an extra tackle eligible last year on short yardage, it was a disaster. Hopefully he’s going to compete for that spot and do well in that spot duty

Remember that Mel Kiper referred to Heath Miller as only an “adequate” blocker.

I remember that! Kiper! He’s a joke! He’s the guy we wouldn’t let play when we picked teams as kids. I know that’s mean.

I really would’ve liked the Steelers to grab Weaver with 4.128 and take a chance that Moore would be there at 4.140.

Yeah, they were quick to say he predicted that the 3 QBs from 2004 - that “none would be busts.”

Congratulations to Captain Obvious. Rivers, Manning, Roethlisberger were league wide projected to be exceptional. When he has no repercussions for being wrong he can hide those calls.

Who was the GM several years ago who jumped Kiper’s *** over who that team picked.? I think he was critical of that team’s pick because they passed on the infamous Trent Dilfer. I just can’t remember who that GM was but he was pissed at Kiper.

A solid pick, 50/50 to start for us as a rookie. SEC battle tested LT..

1994 Draft ......Mel Kiper and Colts GM Bill Tobin ..... colts took Marshall Faulk ..... then traded up to take LB Trev Alberts ...... Kiper thought the pick should have been Trent Dilfer since the only QB the Colts had on roster was Jim Harbaugh.......... and so the drama started .....

We took WR Charles Johnson ...... passing on some guy named Isaac Bruce ........ oh well

**** now he will start out as a backup. He had a fighting chance until the cooch jinx hit him. Btw way to go out on a limb for a prediction 50/50 chance to start.
