Hi guys,

Tomorrow night our resident draft guru writers, Ben and Matt are going live with me at 8pm to discuss the draft.

Any draft questions you want me to ask?

so how many OL should they take....7?

if BPA in round one is a toss up between a good OL or a RB which way do you go?

should the Steelers take Marquez Stevenson in round 3 or 4?

with the draft so deep in oline is this the draft we trade back for extra picks?

what round will we pick a rb and wr

Not having really watched the QBs like I used to, are Trey Lance or Mac Jones viable in any way, shape or form worth a pick @#24?

What is your most likely positional picks for round 1 and 2? What is your favorite CB outside of the ones slated to go high 1? What is the highest you would draft Dickerson?

Lance will be gone. Jones is a wildcard to be there but I could see him going mid round 1. I think there is a pretty small chance either will be available.

1) LT in rnd 1.24 yes / no ?

2) ultimately who do you see us taking in rnd 1

3) Can we get a starting LT & C in this draft and early?

4) Nelson (leaving or staying) Does that make CB a high priority say rounds 2-4 ?

5) Fosters beer................ Ice cold.......................or ....................... Room Temperature (USA is only place its chilled)

Cope, I thnak you and guest(s) for this podcast as I'm really looking forward to your's / Bill's and Matt's input on the draft.

Cope, would be curious to your guests viewpoint on player evaluations for those who sat out and those who played in 2020. Who has the edge? Secondly, if a player’s tape showed some regression in 2020 because of the wacky schedule, is tape from 2019 more relevant than 2020?

if Lance is there... do they say "**** the plan" (OT / RB / CB) and get his superb skills?

I was in Australia a few years back. Fosters is basically the Bud of Australia. cold /hot it doesn't matter. . its Budweiser

1. Is resigning Juju to a clear position of strength and letting go a significant amount of defensive ufas in weaker positions a sign that the team is headed towards prioritizing offense over defense or do you think they just feel they have capable players to fill in on d now...

2. How do you feel about taking Davis Mills with a later round pick, say a sixth, and giving him a chance to beat out mason in a year...

3. Based on the depth of this draft, and their holes is it a good idea for the Steelers to potentially trade down or trade a pick next year for a lower one this year....

That's because it has become so commercialized everywhere including Auatrailia. It was originally made for warm consumption due to lack of refrigeration in the outback areas. Once Chilled it will lose it's appeal to a degree if allowed to warm so in america buy it cold or you'll get the lowered version. Fosters is shipped un-chilled till it gets here. Just for the record all this information was based on 30 year ago first hand knowledge so TODAY,....... things may be different.

It use to be a fairly good quality beer, similar to budwiser but over the years Budwiser has honed the brewing process to such a fine line of more PROFIT that the finish product has suffered and thus has become chilled **** that people drink. I don't know what Fosters has become over the years as I haven't tasted it in a very very long time.

Here is the football part of this post

I use to be an avid HOME-BREWER and made several award winning beers (not bragging but legitamizing). I made both 5 gal (most commen) and 6.5 gal batches. I made this one particular beer named "BLITZ-city 1. The number corrisponded to the number of batch (example) BLITZ-city 37 was my last batch. It took 9 days from brew kettle to drink and was approx. 8 1/2 % ABV and I won 3 first place awards with this concoction (every contest it entered). I also made a "Cherry Fever Stout" with similar results.

If you can't figure it out it was named after our very own BLITZBURGH STEELERS of the 90s. Those were the good O'l days. My advice to everyone is to drink non-domesticated beer, prefferably someone's homebrew as it is real beer and not the watered down profit making **** most people pay way to much for and drink excesively.

thoughts on the release of Nelson?

The guy used a softer version of little chest exit strategy. RED HOT POKER time.

talk about honoring a contract... I bet nelson doesn't get a multi year contract about 9M avg. He would have gotten that or more if he played his final year with the Steelers and went to free agency next season

No disrespect but I've seen owners not honor contracts as well. I don't agree with what Nelson has done but the ONLY way to solve these disputes is to go to a GAURANTEED full contract. The top contracts will lower in dollar value while the bottom contracts will rise in dollar value all while still spending full cap allowance.

Because Guaranteed Contracts have worked wonders to improve the quality of play in baseball and basketball. No wait, there's about 12 teams across both leagues combined that are competitive for a championship. The rest are minor league add-ons.

It's absolutely ruined those sports and personally I can't wait for LeBron James to retire from the cupcake league that is the NBA so it can take a huge nosedive

^^This^^....Once LeBron takes his buy players for a team, instead of build players on a team into retirement, hopefully the NBA will go back to its 80s - 90s early 2K play. It’s unwatchable now.

MLBPA will never ever release the hold they have on the game now. Only sports league where the union Is calling the shots.

Steelers tend to honor their contracts when players deliver

I'm NOT saying guaranteed contracts will fix everything and actually am against them but it's the only way to settle the player vs owner "not honoring" their side of the contract, argument. That was my input intention.

Fair & True.

Most of the time, in real life, you suck at your job you get let go.

that’s what I despise about pro athletes that can phone it in after their payday

Because the owners are in business for themselves.

Seriously—what would you say about MLB if Art Rooney owned the Yankees?

Fact is he almost did. His first love always was baseball
