Kind of insensitive, no???

Bermuda, I'm with you, however...

Clearly there's a political point to the message. Another black man, dead, due to violence. Likely at the hand of another black. The only reason we're hearing about it? Because he played football on TV. Otherwise, none of us would have heard about it. And Jesse and Al will have nothing to say (but to "frown" upon it), there will be no riots, and there's no political gain to be had from the sad loss of life here.

This is the same complex where 2 Auburn players were shot and killed 2 years ago. What has happened to my town????

Not insensitive, more de-sensitized. It is now a seemingly daily occurrence here in the Pittsburgh area. This being a football forum, I will save my opinions on societal breakdown.

Why would they need Jesse or Al? The person that did the shooting will be arrested.

The killer probably won't be arrested because none of the witnesses will talk to the police.

Big thing that concerns me is not the race of these folks but the fact that these are youngsters who may not have the experiences needed to make good decisions on their own. In addition what is the attraction to this location and what was going on that got someone killed several times at that location? As I understand it it involved several kids from athletic programs who if anything should have had more than one opportunity for closer supervision and direction than the average student. A student athlete is almost in two programs at the same time the normal college program and the athletic program as well. It looks to me like somewhere the college is failing to protect these kids from some of the things that are hazardous to youngsters. when they are likely making lots of money from the student athlete.

if no one will talk, did he wrong someone?

Sucks. this **** happens way to often. Wish we would focus on black on black crime more than we do. like someone said, Sharpton and Al never jump into **** like this.

My comment was not stated to insight any racial conflict. Let's get that straight now - I just felt that the comment, overall, was insensitive.
