By: Michael Stiffler, @Stiffeezy_ on Twitter SteelerNation.com   It is never too early to look forward to the NFL Draft when your team gets eliminated, and unfortunately that includes the Pittsburgh Steelers. BPA @ T/RB. I think that is where the value should be too. I think it is too early to pull the trigger in a C. The dark horse would be at DT.

Also too many needs to take a QB early and CB I wouldn't take as they struggle with the position.

Offensive line. Time to invest.
**** I would be ok with a RB or T 1, a Center in 2 a G in 3. Which ever position out of these that didn't get picked in 4. Unless you go DT there then take those positions to 5. We need the meat and potatoes!

Yes we do. That was abundantly clear this year in the running game.

If Ben is back they need OLine help.

I would go with a first-pick.com strategy and keep trading back with teams that can't help themselves and get an AMAZING draft

I was pretty set for a while on 1. OT 2. RB 3. C, but now I'm thinking going tackle in the first and then center in the second with a solid back still being around in the third round.

I just can't get excited about a running back in the first round. There are some very talented players, but you look at a running back as a 5-year investment. Everyone wants Harris, but he's gonna be 23 in March. Are you going to sign him to another deal at 28 years old after being run into the ground for five years by Tomlin? A lineman is a 10-year investment and when you get a player in the first round, it should be a long-term building block for your team.

Sure I get that thinking. But if the BPA is clearly RB you take it. It is just how the board falls. In my mind I think Ts usually run early. So if that happens I don't reach on a T.

At 24, there will be a lot of very good players on the board.

Still to early to prognosticate their rankings, but OL definitely. If Jones falls, that could be hard to pass up. But Fan448 has a good strategy. Although, if no QB is there but an OT is, grab OT in the first, the best C in the second and RB in the 3rd. Carter from UNC is like a beefier Cam Akers. He would be solid.

Then again, I could just go to the OutCoach methodology and draft a Punter in the first.

Olinemen...bring them.

Better get that RB from Bama

We NEED multiple positions especially on oline. There is no way our backs suck as bad as they seemed. We could pick up a back in FA. I would not mind Ingram from Balt

I'm against drafting a RB in the first or second round in today's NFL. Decent ones can be found in the middle rounds, and the position is irrelevant if the blocking sucks.

Even if they somehow manufacturer the cap space to address the OL in FA, two of the first three picks still need to go there. It's that bad.

CB and DL are fairly big needs too. Haden showed obvious decline this season, and Heyward isn't far behind, as he got manhandled in the playoff game.

I would not mind if they went CB or DL in the first, if the right player is available. They would just have to heavily focus on OL the rest of the way.

Going through mocks, I just don't come up with a RB I like much past Rd. 1. Sure there are some but most have risks. If Etienne or Harris are there in Rd. 1, I take them. I then go best OL in the 2nd and in either the 3rd or 4th. I can't see taking anything other than RB or OL in Rd. 1. But, we shall see.

As you can see the meat of the good backs are round 2

Absolutely oline rounds 1 and 2!!! What's the best running back going to do if the online is pushed 2 yards behind the line of scrimmage on the snap? Not a damn thing! Games are won in the trenches - as evident by the Browns beating our *****. We can't evaluate our rb's when they are constantly being met in the backfield.

Not against it but probably not how it plays out unless Pouncey retires .A lot of needs on this years edition.
