I'm on a WR comparison kick today:

JuJu had much better stats than AB. If you extrapolate it's a closer comparison

AB
45rec 483yds 4TDs 10.7y/rec

JuJu
97rec 831yds 9TDs 8.6y/rec

AB projected to 16 games:
90rec 966yds 8TDs 10.7

Interesting stats, as AB's better y/rec would give him more yards total, but JuJu wins in receptions and TDs.

10.7y/rec is the lowest in AB's career since his rookie year of 10.4

AB would have one less TD if he didn't steal one from his teammate last game...

Nice comparison but all do respect Cope, JuJu has climbed the dumb-*** chart like it or not. Which one of these would you take if you could only have one, for next years team (Steelers). I'd still take JuJu, not AB head case level yet.

Salute the nation

It's about the team, Iron. You gotta do what's best for the team.

That means you tear up AB's phone number, burn it, piss on the ashes and use your power-sprayer to clean it off your driveway.

Meh AB also took a bit to get acclimated into the Arians/Brady offense down there...

AB and Juju are different birds... Brown is more like DJ with better hands and sideline game, Juju plays like a Ward did... Tougher over the middle stuff, deceptive speed, and more actual blocking...

Its not really comparing apples to oranges... But it’s probably is like comparing Granny Smith apples to Honeycrisp or Fiji Apples... Same general fruit but different tastes and usefulness ...

I have to believe that if AB plays enough to double his stats, he has many more splash plays that puts him way over JuJu

Talk about over reacting, sure AB left a sour taste in all our mouths with the way he ended his tenure here...but JuJu has done nothing but be himself the entire time he's been in this league. The logo dancing wasn't even brought up the first five weeks he did it. ONE team makes a big deal about it, we happened to lose that game, then all of a sudden its such a HUGE ordeal, and JuJu is headed down the AB path. Give me a ******* break.

And then I saw people saying that Rudolph had to get JuJu to remind him of the two pt conversion, that's not true either. Rudolph went to celebrate WITH JuJu, and then he started screaming 2 pts 2 pts...

JuJu puts in the work, plays hard, doesn't complain, celebrates WITH his team mates even when he's not the one that scores... you honestly couldn't ask for a better team mate than JuJu. He's loaded with talent and he's still VERY young. He does the dirty work, and despite his "down" year, he still nearly had 100 catches. I for one, hope they find a way to keep him around.

And he just turned 24, and his rookie deal is done, that's the kind of player you'd like to sign to a second contract because he's so young. He's like 5 months YOUNGER than Dionte Johnson.

To be fair, AB's first couple games we was hardly involved in the offense. I have to think AB would have better numbers than those projections if he actually played a full 16 games.

**** AB.

To be real fair, AB's numbers are AB's problem. Had he conducted himself in a manner that was professional, he'd still be here catching balls from Ben. AB is the reason AB didn't play all 16 games, so I don't think you should even project him for 16 games. He was suspended for the first half of the season, it wasn't like he was just sitting at home and no one wanted to sign him.

And that was a bullshit suspension too. I can't remember any other time in the the league where a player has had a suspension and he was allowed to serve it while he was essentially retired. Josh Gordon, I suppose is in the ball park, but he had to request reinstatement and BE reinstated before some other idiot team could re-sign him as I remember. I could be wrong.

Letting AB do his "suspension" without making any team actually pony up some roster space at least, much less money is a bunch a bullshit.

Who is this AB and what does he have to do with the Steelers receivers ?
