Baltimore Ravens (11-5)
Cincinnati Bengals (4-11-1)
Cleveland Browns (11-5)
Buffalo Bills (13-3)
Chicago Bears (8-8)
Denver Broncos (5-11)
Detroit Lions (5-11)
Green Bay Packers (13-3)
Kansas City Chiefs (14-2)
Las Vegas Raiders (8-8)
Los Angeles Chargers (7-9)
Minnesota Vikings (7-9)
Tennessee Titans (11-5)

So our two games tgat differ from the division are the Bills and the Titans ...

I see 5 losses and 12 wins. My way too early prediction.

13-4. Easy

When is the opponent for the 17th game determined? And what is the criteria to determine that opponent?

From an article I read on Steelers Depot, they're saying that it will apparently be the NFC West winner, which would be the Seahawks, at home.

They haven’t officially voted on enacting it yet... it will be one of the three division winners from tge NFC we dont play... so the Seahawks, Saints, or Redskin wannabes...

Road schedule is real tough next season.

Basically, once the NFL has a lucrative tv deal with the 17th game option in place, tge owners are going to ratify it... tgey already voted on everything else around it... it will be a rotation among cross conference division matches... so just like we played the Bills and Broncos cause tgey finished in the same place in their division as we did, it will be the same thing only from the nfc... and it will rotate Divisions like our current nfc matchups do... so next year we play the entire NFC north, but our 17th game will be from the west ( allegedly) we finished first in our division so we’d play the Seahawks....but the next year it will be us playing the entire NFC South, and we will match the NFC east for tge 17th game.. and so on...

Hope the players association votes down this 17th game. Would be a clusterfuck without a 2nd bye week.

They will not. More $ for NFL = higher cap for players.

Given Covid, this may take the place of a revenue drop to mitigate cap drop.

Also, the NFL has seasoned this concept for several years. The no-preseason experience this year could lead to a quick move to 18 games to further enhance revenues.

More money vs player safety.....well that seems easy to predict.
