Clowns vs Steelers Part 3......Wild Card Weekend

That Saturday night game is total garbage. Should've been the Saturday 1:05 game.

The league knows what it's doing in this regard.

With Brady against a large market team, it will draw a big audience.

Colts/Bills is the far better matchup, but they're small market teams that are not that interesting to the average fan.

In 94/95 the Browns went to the playoffs, won a game, faced us and got beat.... in 02/03 they made the playoffs again, faced us and got beat.... if we beat them next week their inferiority complex is going to absorb them...

The 94/95 Playoff game is where we finished off the Browns. We won the war.

It was the 3rd time we had beaten the Browns in one season. The fan base and the Franchise collectively blew a gasket. In the off season Art Modell spent Buko Big Bucks for FA wide receiver bust Andre Rison, The fans turned on him in early 95 and then Modell announced his intent to leave Cleveland taking the Browns players with him.

Turns out the 3rd time was the charm. The Cleveland Browns as a franchise no longer existed, except in a trust and a promise that Cleveland would get another team in the future. They did not play again until 1999. Arguably one of Cowhers finest achievements- Killing off a franchise.

I'm not giving Tampa a gimme win at Washington, their Dline is very good, and Smith if on can be very efficient with those RB's. Also Tampa lost Mike Evans and AB is running the wrong routes stealing teammates TD's :)

If you guys noticed, the Browns came out on fire, and took it to us early. We looked out matched and out muscled. Then the fire died down and our younger players started executing. This is the best Cleveland will be this weekend. A team that beat us by a failed 2pt conversion. I expect a blowout and Baker to get crushed. He had a **** game without Watt and Heyward pressuring him, and they still let up 5 sacks. They are screwed this week.

I agree with Wig. Desperately hope yu are right. But my gut says the only way this is a blow out either way is a plethora of turnovers one way.

You mean "Super" wild card weekend, lol.

So how about 'those of us that are interested' - we meet up in a Webex meeting for both days??? I can spin up my Webex room but I'll need the interested persons to supply their personal email addresses so I can send out the meeting invite(s)...

Should we restrict to contributors only???

I think limiting it to contributors is a great idea. - Just my two and a half cents-

No, no **** up here. I did the smart thing and told my old mother to make the slaw. The old German way. But it is a little different than North American way. A little bit more balsamic vinegary than creamy. They made it like that back then because of the lack of great refrigeration.

HELL YEAH

to the GERMAN slaw and thank yiour dear mom for that..!!!!

Ebron can come to my house after we win the Superbowl. He has to pass his own covid test, wear a mask, and stay on the deck - 6' away from my spot at the grill.

Will there be "red carpet" is my only concern...........

I don't have the link but heard on "The Aftermath" that Mike Evans injury 'was just a scare' and he will be monitored closely this week...

This game will end similar to our 1st game against them earlier in the season. Yesterday was their SB and they barely beat our backups.

Might be fun to do a Zoom and share the screen, so we're all watching the same game at the same time?

Don’t listen to the media for the next week. It’s been nothing but a love fest for the Browns all day. 🤮

We’ll definitely be flying under the radar. lol

I'm figuring we start an hour before the first game and keep it going until the last game is done each day.

Thoughts???

Be a great way to put faces to names. I'm hella good looking.

Yeah. And their 3rd & 4th string DBs and LBs hung in there too, and the backup OL to Hubbard, who was a backup OLineman.

The Browns may not scare many, but they're not lousy. It's going to be a close one I fear.

They just lost their second best dlineman for the season as well

As long as covid doesn’t throw us any curveballs, we should have an talent advantage... which scares the **** out of me LOL
One other thing, while ten days is the minimum a player can be out and then play... it isnt a guaranteed timeframe... a few guys still had positive tests and had to sit out longer this year... its hard to really say if they are getting everyone back or not for next week...

I fully and completely expect Mayfield to goball baker Mayfield and try to force everything... he is going to make some crazy plays doing that, but it says here he will also throw some terrible balls

Bob around here we don't live in our fears.

I don't think they are lousy but their O scored in this game because we had so many out. We shut their running game down in our 1st matchup. They won't sniff 24 next week even with Haden out.
