By: Sean McGeown, @seanpmcgeown SteelerNation.com All seemed to be well after the*Pittsburgh Steelers’ 28-24 comeback victory over the*Indianapolis Colts Sunday afternoon. However, wide out JuJu Smith-Schuster*is not enjoying his victory Monday as well as everyone had hoped: https://www.instagram.com/stories/juju/2474358900625224833/ Smith-Schuster apparently had a bad experience at the*Primanti Bros, a local* Pittsburgh favorite restaurant. He specifically said […]

To be fair it’s a non issue. Why can’t someone post a negative review if that was their experience.

That said. Dude stop channeling your inner AB.
It is an overrated place to eat anyways. I don't remember it being bad service when I ate there but different waiter/waitress always brings that possibility. Plus if it is busy you probably will have to wait longer than a young man likes to wait. Juju go to Peppi's or Shelly pie, as taste is what matters.

Juju should know his position in the community and position as an internet influencer. Just don't go back. Everyone has bad experiences. But you are high profile. Just shut your yap. I was disappointed in my two visits. Seemed overrated. I preferred Peppis. But its personal opinion. My taxi driver that I used both trips felt the same.

And whit is his position in the community? He's a human being. He had a bad experience at this particular primate bothers. He stated he has respect for the chain itself, just not this one store. Because he is a pro athlete, he can't post a review or criticize anything? That's ridiculous.

Juju has done some things worthy of criticism this year. This isn't one of them.

There is nothing wrong with JuJu posting a negative response but he must also realize he is under microscope and especially in the city of PITTSBURGH. He can be way more suttle in his reviews knowing that these businesses are partly responsible through the taxes they pay for stadiums etc...... For him to have a job.

Talking in absolutes puts a LOT of emphasis on the negative, I feel he could have said the same thing only a little more diplomatic and less offensive to a Buisness that supports him / STEELERS / Organization. There is no exact way but the all about me way gets old and fast. Don't kid yourself, he is all about me (himself) like it or not.

Salute the nation

This is the most attended Primanti's in the city. He's pissed during a no fans week, try it during a home game with fans in town. Understand it's an experience and there are more people there than just you.

The Market Square Primanti's? He's not wrong.

If you post a negative thing about Primantis with your 125 followers and a bad yelp review it doesn't matter. I don't know how many followers Juju has but I'm guessing a hell of a lot. You are hurting a local business. For what. Don't go back. And furthermore If I coached this team I'd bring the big boys in. Heyward, Pouncey, Ben. 10k tax for anything controversial on social media. 20 k tax for broadcasting from the dressing room. The ****** coach had a closed door meeting with this guy about the logo dance and they had to post a tick Toc from the dressing room after three and a half weeks of **** play. No management of these guys. Tomlin just wants them to express themselves as individuals. Just like AB did. Good grief.

Complaints about a guy complaining about ****** service. If Primantis didn't want the bad review, they'd provide better service at that location. Not just to JuJu, but to everybody. Don't want to be called out, don't give ****** service. In my opinion, JuJu isn't hurting them. They're hurting themselves. Maybe a "celebrity" dissing them will make them take a hard look at what they're doing.

Maybe that store should provide better service. Look, if you allow any athlete’s opinion of anything to influence what you do, regardless of what it is, you are a moron. I’m sure enough people like that store or it wouldn’t be open. Juju had a bad experience and posted on Instagram or Twitter or whatever about it. Big deal. The expectations fans have for athletes is beyond stupid. You wanna criticize him for dancing on logos or dropping passes, fine. He’s certainly earned that. But being upset that he criticized a restaurant where he allegedly received bad service is just downright stupid. It’s like he’s expected to dance for us the way we expect him to dance, but God forbid he be human.

The employees at this location aren't the most pleasant but my goodness do they make a good sandwich here.

They’re famous for their “service’” dates way back to a cranky old woman with heart of gold truck guys loved her.., juju’s gone he no’s it everyone no’s it... can’t afford him.. try not to drop the ball on the way out!

I’ve been there a couple times with similar results. If I’m taking family members/friends for their first time, it’s usually at the strip district. Never had any problems there. Neither at the one in Oakland near Pitt.

This sounds to me like Juju wanted special service cause of who he is and he didn’t get that.. maybe he had to wait in line or didn’t get the attention he desired?

This post nails it. Doing this only potentially alienates people. Ju Ju should ask himself the question “What good can come out of this thing I’m about to say/do?”

'Worst service. I respect Primanti Bros but Market Square has bad service would never come back to this one again'

Big deal. Nowhere near 'going off'. He likes PB but the Mkt Sq. store sucks. Got it. Move on - nothing to see here.

No Juju can be as human as he wants he can make as many mistakes as he wants too. But he is all about this branding deal. He puts himself out there and can't go a week without some look at me ****. So if I'm looking I'm free to criticize. How bout just play the ****** games and live your life. Real life not virtual social media brand.

You're assuming it truly was the "worst service" Juju has ever had and he just isn't being a ***** over some minor aspect of his experience.

The whole online praise/criticism/review game is crooked anyway. It has too much potential impact on businesses, and too many of the opinions are not valid.

There's too many negative views derived from ulterior motives, and many positive ones are manipulated by the company itself.

It's not uncommon for a business to offer a customer a discount or some other incentive in exchange for a positive online review.

They could literally serve someone **** on a stick while sneezing on it in front of them and still get a positive review out of it.

Been to that location a few times when my son lived near there when he was in grad school. The service is pretty bad, especially considering that the store in the Strip District is a lot busier and has better service. We'd normally go to the one in Cranberry Twp. but then they opened a new one in my county just in time for the 'Rona to force them into takeout only.
