That was the excuse going around here, that he couldn’t step into throws blah blah. Looked pretty good in the second half. Maybe Mr. Miyagi did that thing on his knee like he did with Daniel.

As soon as they started throwing down field with success everything opened up, running game, underneath stuff, intermediate stuff, all of it. Randy Fichtner should have been dog walked out of that stadium and been told never return. His offense bites ****.

I think he finally was stepping into some throws. I think it must be close to 100 percent. Whew..

Just checking. Since Tomlin was taking all the blame for the first half performance, does he get any credit for the second half? Said another way, if you’re going to praise Ben for the second half, are you going to have him shoulder an equivalent amount of blame for the first?

I am rarely critical of Ben or Tomlin. Randy Fichtner on the other hand......he needs to go.

No Ben has always taken the blame and Tomlin gave us all a big paragraph for his novel.. Ben was allowed to throw down the field and everything opened up. Conner's even had a huge hole to run threw.

Sooo, you're saying Tomlin made an adjustment.

That's the best mid-range and deep accuracy he's shown in a long time. Not sure what happened at halftime. It's clear the few deep shots backed off the defense and really opened up what the Steelers could do on offense.

That and the Oline playing better, Ebron and DJ focusing in better, Ben shaking off the injury All belong in a bag together.

That's a nice way of saying that as a team/group of men, they finally got their heads out of their *****. lol

Exactly! Hey slumps happen you have to find your way out of them. I think randy should play call less and the up tempo O should be seen earlier.

I also feels strongly that Claypool 's reps shouldn't be decreased.

Its all good...

Shot to the knee huh. Wouldn't be a shocker.

I know they give pain injections during games, I'm wondering for safety sake if they can only give one during a game. Ben does seem to look more comfortable in the third quarter for a while now and I've been curious for if that's what's been going on at half time. An obvious disclaimer that I have no idea about the time interval between injections is.

OL did play better. Also the drops were way down also by our WRs. Defense seemed to feed off of our offense. Nice half of football.

I believe in Tomlin's presser he stated they didn't make any adjustments.

Well, he's obviously lying. Because if they "LET" Ben throw it downfield in the second half, that implies they were keeping him from doing so in the first. That means that the adjustment was letting Ben throw downfield in the second half rather than handcuffing him to those little dink 'n dunk passes.

Once Ben was allowed to throw the ball down field plays were working. So who was keeping this from happening. So doe we all agree Ben had been held down and once he was let free we pulled the game out. Wonder if Tomlin will see this on film review.
