Noticed Wisniewski is starting now for what in at least most people's eyes will be the eventual Super Bowl Champion. Waiting for him to get healthy was just not gonna happen. Put him on the active roster to cut him. Now they are paper thin at interior line. See here. Harrison and Blount who while being POS were mislead by Tomlin about their role on the team. Forced their way off and landed on a team that at least went to the SB.

Did they have to activate Wis as time ran out?

KC? If they had to activate him he was still on the field yesterday, so they obviously feel confident in him. I have less confidence in Hassenauer.

No when the Steelers activated him from IR did they still have time left or did that time run out?

Yeah he was waived injured from the Steelers... the Steelers have an honorable but annoying habit of waiving a lot of vets unhappy with their role or plan ... the Steelers were going to ir him for the rest of the year... he went somewhere he could play this year

We basically got tge dude off their practice squad he leapfrogged in their pecking order of olineman

Steelers activated him, so he had 21 days to be rostered. Steelers rostered him on day 21 but he reinjured himself in those 21 days. If the Steelers didn't sign Wis, he was lost for the season.

Steelers took a risk, and hoped to sign him back later if they had a need. Problem is the Chiefs rostered him before Pouncey got Covid and LG was decimated.

This is hindsight 20/20 stating we should have kept a player that couldn't physically play on a roster, when we lost Bush, signed AW and promoted Elliott all the same week. ILB was our priority that week over keeping a potenial backup interior lineman, that we may or may not need down the road, when he was still about a month away from playing in the league again.

He was three to four weeks from playing and there are a lot of guys on the roster not doing a hell of a lot. Wis was brought in here as a pretty important piece because he could play either guard and centre. Now you are looking at an inexperienced guard. And **** if any of the three interior lineman are injured. Tomlin gambled and lost. He usually does.

The head coach is paid a lot of money to be right in hindsight.

It’s like you get a brand new girlfriend but she’s never available to see you because she works 2 job and has 4 kids. Not available to see you? You gotta move on...

As for Wis, good looking potential date for the Steelers but he was never available. The ******* guy couldn’t get on the field let alone stay on the field.

We moved on just as we should have...

KC has activated him from the PS twice. He’s played 9 snaps (4 yesterday) all on ST. He could be reverted back to the PS again tomorrow. If not protected, he could be signed again. We don’t know. It was a tough decision regarding roster chess matches, as they needed a extra center on his last week on IR. He was a couple weeks away, but the 21 day limit required him to be released, or take a spot on the active roster. KC had him two weeks before he was activated for one game, then reverted back to the PS. He was activated Sat again to play 4 ST snaps.

I thought he was the lineman who caught the tipped pass from Mahomes which he then illegally ran forward for a penalty. There was much discussion of this play and whether NO should try to challenge that it was a fumble.

I saw him on a scrimmage play for sure yesterday. I wouldn't have brought it up if he wasn't in the game.

Based on Pro Reference’s site he’s only had 9 snaps as a Chief this year. All ST. Haven’t check Stats Inc, yet.

I thought the penalty was for illegal touching since the pass wasn't tipped and he was the first player to touch it after it was thrown. It looked like it might have been a fumble and was just knocked forward by Mahomes' hand. If that had been the case the ball would have been dead where he caught since they could not advance a fumble on 4th down.

I think it would have been down where the fumble started, not where it was caught, because that would be "advancing" it.

LOL, I don't know about you, but my wife is happy to remind me of that fact all the time
