Steelers - Bills game thread # OnABuffaloWingAndAPrayer

I don't even know who to blame anymore.

You would think professionals who make hundreds of thousands of dollars and athletes that make millions of dollars could figure out that if you throw the same ******* pass all ******* day, every single game you may hit a wall.

Except they get the ball in the second half and I am worried the offense has given all the points they can muster.
 
All that talent on offense. .... Guys can't catch (DJ - hope they never throw to him the rest of the game). Dink and dunk passes - nothing down field. Not one gimmick ... not that that is who they are, but damn, a reverse once in awhile? a double reverse? It's like watching brady and edelman and wes welker ...'cept those guys could catch and that is who they were (and they cheated). Can they maybe open the playbook? Go hurry up? Geez?

This is the time of year the O needs to be taking off not regressing. Not good for December football. What is worse is we seen this book far too often.

Got to start hitting downfield 15-20 yards or more. The short game has run its course without a running game.

Three weeks I've watched other defenses sit on these routes, the tips are from the low angles. That goes away on longer passes.


Now catching the ball. Did they all of a sudden all become Ike Taylor?

The last thing I want is a bye for this team. They come out flat and even worse after time off. There is no home field advantage for us. **** the 1 seed.

Im worried that BUF, like good teams do, is going to analyze what they did wrong and make adjustments, plus they are going to crowd the line and jump on the short passing routes just like BAL did and WAS did and like THEY did in the first half. But PIT will do what they do and that is EXACTLY the same thing they did in the first half because that is all they have shown they want to do.
 
Are they mimicking election coverage? I’m pretty sure I saw him give Kansas City 20 wins.

It's about the bye. Nothing else. The Steelers could really use a week of rest.
 
They need to get some intermediate routes going, double moves. RBs need to quit hesitating so much and go, Samuels caught a screen had Decastro in front and he studder steps then cuts right into the defender.

Theoretically yes a 2 point game at half is anybody’s game. But with an offense that is frankly disgusting in every way, there’s no room for optimism at this point. I’m done with everyone who is involved with designing the offensive game plan

The OL seemed to be moving the pile with Snell back there. The ground game started gaining traction and then nah lets go back to Connor..
 
Need to start running longer routes. Yes, Ben will get sacked.. like every other QB in the league. The streak of no sacks doesn’t get us extra points.

Someone better put some fire in these boys at half time. We end up losing this game we play two hard teams and playing them while they are going up and us down. Did anyone not believe we would change the offense coming into this game and get a way from the quick three yard pass. talk about not gettin it, the Steelers have been bashed all week for this offense and how the Ravens showed all how to beat it and we still come out same thing. Lets go someone get pissed and make plays
 
Glad to see Mikey bench DJ for dropping balls. You have to think that Ebron noticed that.
 
We can't run but if we can't throw passes 15 to 20 yards downfield and complete them, teams are going to keep crowding the box to stop the run and the short passes. They need to figure that out and quick. Our O hasn't really put up points in several games. They had been putting up 27 every game for the first 7 or 8 games even when we started games slow.
 
if they are going to continue with the short passes then DJ has to be on the field. Washington and Claypool are not run after catch guys.
 
They dont have the have the #1 seed, if the Browns game in week 17 is meaningless, alot of players can sit. If the Browns lose tomorrow they are essentially 3 games back because a tiebreaker would go to us because of division record. Of course we want the #1 seed, but having a meaningless game in week 17 would essentially be a bye

A little. I'm not sold on Conner anymore or Snell. We almost have to draft a RB in round 1 or 2 that can start game 1.

I’d rather gain 4 yards than watch DJ drop pass after pass.
