Saw this on Twitter,

I can't get to twitter from work. Can you elaborate please?

As many of us have stated repeatedly, the OL isn't some all-world pass protection line. Ben has lead the league in time to throw this year and in 2018, was 5th in 2017 (ignoring backups). It's pretty annoying to hear the praise continually heaped onto this line post-Munchak just like the line post-Grimm when Ben was getting killed and somehow it was his fault.

Wow. Looks like a traffic cone might be better at left guard. Hassenauer looked better in this game. I think he may be the replacement for Pouncey. He has good push off the snap and does well with his blocks.

Dot should see time at LG

Apparently they are not all world run block either.

FYI, WFT has an elite front 7. That's what they've been drafting and they have it. Now they can work on skill players on O.

I do not think Hassenauer is the ideal long term replacement , but this much I'm sure of. Pouncey isn't missed much. He is a declining player who has been replaced before by no names.

For those who want to learn on Hassenauer

HA! Hass is the heir to the center throne?? We're ****** if that happens. Like Sean Mahan ******. Dude is a liability bouncing balls off the turf.

Our backup center was supposed to be Wis, he got hurt and cut. Now we have choice #3 and there is a reason why he is choice 3. He sucks.

I'd rather have Dotson learn to snap as a long term replacement, because Big Dot is at least athletic.

Want to know why our guards look like dogshit? They are trying to do too much by helping the center when he whiffs on blocks.

What about when Pouncey is playing and they look like dogshit?

That's true to a degree too, but with Pouncey they've rushed for 100+ in 6 of 10 games. I think the issued are Feiler isn't a OG, he needs to go back to OT. DeCastro is struggling, and they need Dotson back in.

overared Dotson needs to start I wouldnt spend money on Fielier to retain we have bigger issues

but he was an OG before moving to RT IIRC

The first game he saw any snaps for us was at Tackle vs Detroit in 2017, he played RG two weeks late vs Cleveland, then started at RT in 2018 and 2019, did play OG last year vs the Rams, but he's primarily been at RT.
Pro Football reference still has him listed as a Tackle for some reason.
