Steelers Add Tuitt, Buggs, and Hawkins to COVID19 List

If this isn't pseudo science I don't know what is. The Ravens have 9 Players WITH the virus. There entire ******* team is a close contact at this point. And if anyone wants to say anything about that, then how the **** did 9 people get it from 1 person (The strength coach). Yet the Steelers will be without a starting DT, and two reserve players. Now my point isn't to whine about that. If the Steelers cannot win this game without those three its pretty sad. The point is how can anyone deem the Ravens safe to play.

I'm starting to think the strength coach is a scapegoat. This is extremely contagious, but with the rules laid down, it shouldn't spread like this unless the rats were lax in their internal practices. The contrary is the S&C coach knew he had it, came didn't care, and didn't mask up. That would create a super spreader event. Numbers from one church event can hit 50 people if a priest has it, so it can happen, but the NFL has much stricter more consistent rules regarding this.

I have not heard that any Rats will be available Tuesday that were out for Thursday or Sunday.

There will be... the close contacts will be... i heard they have 22 on the list right now but 18 will miss the game unless more positives come out... that plus injuries lets them field 51 healthy guys...

The issue i have is that i think some players will have naturally been exposed during Thanksgiving and five days past that is the game And five days is a pretty typical incubation for this thing... so I don’t think that we wont see more cases... though I do think that due to the lack of late week practice, they wont be from the original cases... i think that set will be done by Monday at the latest.....

Just like a lot of college teams had a breakout after halloween.
So the thanksgiving thing makes sense

Tomlin said they have no new positive tests today (Sunday). Hope we stay on that trajectory.

A very intelligent poster made that point the day the ravens announced the punishment

Its really hard for me to forget when the league was forcing teams to play critically shorthanded back when they started taking concussions seriously but before they expanded the rosters by a couple players...

For the record, rosters should have been upped to 65 At least two cba’s ago....

There was no confirmed positive for Tuitt, just added him to the list. We will assume close contact because they noted positive for Canada, Smith and Conner.
