I'm sure physically AND mentally, Brady is a decent QB. I will NEVER believe that 6th rd Tom, career backup at Michigan is actually the greatest passer of all time.
When you are consistently told moments before the snap what the actual coverage will be, it is much easier to make a quick, competent read and get the ball to the best option. Obviously, Brady was able to look like a ******* all-pro with guys whose names you didn't even know at WR. Now, he's got a three of the most dynamic receivers in the entire league and he's struggling to look slightly better than mediocre.
I suspect this is due to three issues.
LOE, (lack of Ernie)
Loss of physical ability due to age.
Loss of mental acuity, also due to age.
I can't imagine Tom will return next year but if he does, I would expect the drop-off to be ridiculous.

I never ever once bought the idea that the lebeau amoeba defense that intentionally was completely built around not tipping your hand till the last second could be expertly read every damn time by one qb .... it never made sense.... its very telling that this master at reading defenses a year ago is now struggling with the same stuff....

a 20-5 record when Brady moved into a starting role as a junior and senior. Michigan went 10-3 in 1998 and 10-2 in 1999.

Besides having the opportunity to work with some of the greatest QBs to ever play the game, what makes him a fantastic QB coach? He had the chance to work with generational talent and we all know he has no regard for protecting his QBs as Roethlisberger, Luck, Palmer, etc. were consistently some of the most sacked QBs in the league under Arians' watch.
As a qb position coach everyone gives him high marks.... as a oc he sucks... teaching fundamentals of a position isnt tge same as gameplanning and playcalling

Last years DPOY sure does seem pedestrian... he has his worse grades sine his first two years in the league.... i guess losing brady really hurt that defense pretty bad...

I think the problem that you are referring has something to due with Brady's ego. He's age 43 now, he can't play like he's 35. His ability to read coverage did not suddenly become crap.
I heard Brady is really bad in night games. Why? His bedtime usually is 9:30PM.
It seems something changed after they got caught (again!) filming Cincy last year. Perhaps exposed but kept under wraps??

the OL is average AT vest they cant get push even for Fournette that 97 yd td run was a fluke and bad angels taken they gambled hard and once rones hit the hole there was nobody to beat, since then they cant wind the game down because no one on that OL can open holes for eithier back which is forcing msarsha to throw 40 times and quite clear his arm is a noodle now at 43 with 20 years on it
