Since Governor Wolf is limiting the amount of people allowed to attend games to 2500 as of Friday, I wonder what happens to the additional 3000 people that had tickets for Thursday night's game.
Having fewer fans on Sunday is another advantage given to the Ravens.............Thanks Goodell.

I'm about to pour some Vodka (Tito's)---but, I was contemplating this as well. We deserve to see the game on National TV and Monday night's game is trash vs. the ratings our teams will bring to the table.

They are only one game ahead of the Chiefs for the #1 seed. They are in the midst of an undefeated season. They are playing their biggest rival.

Way to take my statement out of context. Of course they had something to play for. My comment was in reference to all of the cards being stacked against the Ravens, and these being the type games that don’t go according to plan. But in your world, that never happens. [emoji849]

These type of games references years past, Steelers haven't been following that blueprint this year.
Goodell wanted to get those contact tracing players back, watch them allow every one of them play Sunday.

What is the point of backups and a practice squad then?? I mean...if the Ravens has an injury report with 7 people on it, wouldn’t you expect the backups to play?? They wouldn’t be able to postpone a game because of a plethora of injuries....this is is the same damn scenario. Pisses me off.
Lolley at DK's site is reporting that both Ratbird Centers are on the COVID list. Sooooo, you can bet dollars to donuts that one Lamar Jackson was/is a person who showed up on their contract tracing. There's your real reason the game was postponed.

Sunday is the fifth day if you count today which, if they passed a test on Sunday morning...I am not sure. I just assume the NFL would let them. But, if the contract tracing exposure started yesterday, then for sure they could play Sunday. The question I have on the OC's is are they contact or positives. I haven't seen a definitive answer. I will have to go back to DKPS and see if they have it. The NFL site did not a couple hours ago.
I'd like to see some info on how they count those days. Because him coming back on Sunday, even if he passed a test Sunday morning, wouldn't be 5 FULL days. It would be 4 days and him coming back on the fifth.
I agree it is a dubious timeline. I said to my son today that if the NFL is truly moving this game for Player and Personnel safety to ensure the outbreak is contained, then the NFL should just go ahead and say that all players not eligible to play Thursday due to this may not play Sunday. But then the public backlash on the NFL would be epic. Imagine, the Ravens being impacted by Covid. I mean, clearly it is okay to stab people and knock the **** out of your girl on the elevator and get only 2 games (initially) but god forbid you wash your hands but fail to pull up your socks.
I repeat something I said earlier, the NFL better fine the **** out of the Ravens for this and hit them with at least a 4th round pick. The Raiders got 500,000 and a sixth which was supposed to serves a warning to teams. My bet, they don't get ****.

Went from fans attending, night game, big stage on Thanksgiving to 1pm on a Sunday, no fans, just a regular weekend. What a bunch of ****.
Don’t waste the color rush unis on this game. Save them for a playoff game with some fans potentially.

Well, you'll know for sure on Sunday. If they DON'T end up fielding a bunch of PS and backup players, you know it was because the league wanted to give them a few extra days to have guys that were identified as contacts earlier in the week play. If they end up still fielding a walking-wounded team you know the league was honestly trying to protect the Steelers.

This was a rare opportunity to go to a game with my brother and now we don't have that. I'm pretty bummed.
