KDKA just announced it, didn't name the player.
It's funny how when its reported that a player tested positive for the virus, none of the media is concerned at all for the players health. It's more so that the game could be in jeopardy of being played.
Just goes to show how dangerous this virus truly is...
obviously the Steelers will be forced to forfeit this weekends bungle game
I think it is dangerous for people with comorbidities-low immune system.
It would be less dangerous if there was a vaccine obviously.
While we will know in a short time the name of the player who tested positive, it is worth noting that tight end Vance McDonald missed Friday’s practice with an illness. He played 24 snaps, including special teams, in yesterday’s game. Humphrey also missed practice due to illness shortly before testing positive.

The #Steelers placed TE Vance McDonald on the COVID-19 reserve list, per the wire.
The CDC just came out with this recently (yes, the CDC). 99.99% survival rate for anyone under the age of 50 who contracts the virus.
Pfizer just announced a vaccine with a 90% efficacy rate.
What is it for over 50? I fall into that group. Getting old sucks .lulz
Not sure why these teams are playing guys who had an illness and had to miss a practice given the risks involved in having a significant portion of the team sit out.

Just wait.
Well, he didn't play well.I agree. He should not have played.
Well, he didn't play well.
On the 4th down at the end of the game Old MacDonald was channeling Whiff Johnson (from the Packers SB) as he missed his block and Conner got rocked. While this play also resulted in a turnover, at least the cost wasn't the chance to win the SB.
I'm sure the tackler was doubly happy today, getting that 4th down tackle for loss, and knowing that his brush with Covid was a miss, at least on that play.

For favorite thing about that (aside from him treating Conte like a fly on the windshield) was Cam's reaction.
