In case you were wondering if there's any bias out there...

8 and 0

18/4 TD/int ratio and nearly 2000 yards....nary a freaking peep from the talking heads about CPoTY let alone MVP.

And according to at least one talking-head...the fourth best QB in the AFC North.

Has there been conversations on this? Any names mentioned? I don't know of any, but I haven't been following the NFL outside of the Steelers this year.

Alex Smith will win the award especially now that he will be starting the rest of the season for the football team

8 weeks in and I haven't heard or read ONE person talking about Roethlisberger as "Comeback Player of the Year"...

Ben is a shoe in for that award. I have not seen a Steelers beat writer mention that either. Not only did he come back, he's having one of his best seasons.

Seriously.....who cares really about come back player of the year? I could give to *****. As we all are hoping....I am looking forward to hopefully Ben bringing another trophy to the Burgh.

Instead of propping up Ben, the NFL runs with stories like 'is Ben holding his team back?' You ******* kidding me. Ben is the reason why we won 3 road games in a row. Coming back from 2 10pt deficits and halftime deficits in both.

Ben's performance last game with one leg is something I've seen from no other QB aside from Leftwitch.

This team needs to be a spread quick pass team for the rest of the year. Not start it when you're down. Do it all game, because you will have to outscore your opponents when you face KC/BUF

Exactly get the team to a SB and win it and then the props will come. Even if they don't you put the team back on top for wins. That matters more than any individual award.

I have to laugh when a forum poster called Big Ben nothing more than a game manager!

Well in my book when you have a "Game Manager" like Big Ben you have a chance to be 8-0.

I'm sure Big Ben will love that label.

Well, he is managing to find ways to win games. I suppose that would make him a 'game manager'!

What's even more disgraceful is that Big Ben has never even gotten a vote for MVP in 16 seasons. This year will probably make it 17 years and no MVP votes. He's one of the Greatest QB's to ever play the game. Really incredible if you think about it.

Screw MVP votes. I'll take Lombardis!

Wife and I were talking this morning about this. Ben gets zero credit for anything. No mention of ever MVP and now his record after surgery

Well that is a running joke for some here. The media called Ben nothing more than a game manager for most of his early career.

Obviously, you'd rather have Lombardi trophies. However, you'd think SOMEBODY would be sayin' "Dayum! Look at him go."

If he keeps this up....he will most definitely get some votes this year.

In his rookie year, he managed 15 wins in a row....
