Cowboys 5th QB > Rudolph

I'm gonna hope that if he had the week to prepare that he would have been better than that. But yeah, not good optically.

Lol, why can’t Rudolph do what their **** qb did to us?

Fearful Fichtner ruins all of our QB's not named Ben.

I think that I would rather have Dobbs calling the plays, he seems to have a feel for the game.

rudolph sucks, and fichtner sucks. both can be (and are) true.

he does not have the arm. compare the arc on his passes to Gilbert. Mason has no zip

Arching floaters-up for grabs is how they look in the air. Nice guy, I’m sure, but I’d rather have Dobbs-at least head a threat to run.

It's more obvious now than ever that no QB on the Steelers roster right now is worth keeping. None of those guys....Rudolph, Dobbs & Hodges are all not starting material in the NFL. Maybe the Steelers should take a chance on a kid like Trey Lance who has announced he's entering the 2021 NFL Draft. Hopefully he could be the heir apparent to Ben.

Steelers need to draft the heir apparent this year. They also need to draft a running back in the second round.

Ben looks like **** until they go nohuddle. Simply horrible game planning.

Right? Looks to me that no QB can do very well in the current system. Ben struggles until they let him go backyard.

Why did Gilbert look good? because the cowboys have some of the best skill players in the NFL. Zeke, Cooper, Gallup, Lamb, and even their TE schultz has emerged. The Cowboys OL has been bad but today they played pretty well.

If Gilbert played last year for the steelers trying to throw to Johnny Holton and Deon Cain, i suspect he would have looked like **** too.

I'd still pick him up if they try to put him on the practice squad and cut one of our stiffs.

I have no faith in Rudolph will ever be even a decent back-up. His arm is week and float his passes. He has happy feet. We would not have won yesterday if Ben didn't come back in. That is certain.

Pretty sure Rudolph runs tge offense as called... the playcalling is crap... if we inject any backup qb in there they’ll probably have the same results

It's funny how pretty much every week now, Fichtner comes up with a gameplan and it is thrown in the garbage after the first quarter and a half.

I think his main job now is just telling Ben what down it is.

They looked like **** because they were trying to force the run game in the first half. We were continuously in 3rd and long. I'm not mad that we passed JK Dobbins for the stud that Claypool is, but we badly need to draft a back of that caliber next year. Next year's qb class is looking fairly deep (meaning there will be some actual decent prospects on the board at the end of the first round. Not can't miss studs, but solid prospects). QB first round, running back second round.

Did you see that throw? I could have read War And Peace in the amount of time it took to get there.
