The eyes of a nation are fixed on Pennsylvania State and pollsters. Many are very concerned about what appears to be blatant mistakes made by officials and awarding a win to the wrong party. The polls were way off. But we must learn to live with the loss to Indiana and being unranked by pollsters. It's on to Maryland.

Maryland at Penn State 3:30 Big Ten Network
Rough start to the season installing a new offense and getting 2 good teams to start. The second half vs Ohio State showed promise. WR Jahan Dotson finally stepped up and made plays. Was that an aberration or did the light finally click on for a talented guy who has underachieved most of the time in his career? New playcaller Kirk Cirocca seemed to get in a groove in that second half as well.

This week they face a much less talented opponent so there should be less pressure and more opportunity for big plays. At 0-2 Penn State won't be looking past Maryland. Maryland does have Tua's younger brother at QB who may make some plays.

23 Michigan at 13 Indiana 12:00 FS1
Is Indiana that good? Is Michigan that bad? We could see this saturday. Lots of heat on Michigan after a devastating loss to Mich state. Indiana is playing with confidence. If Indiana QB Penix can play like he did in the 4th qtr vs Penn State then Indiana should win. If he plays like he did in the first half, then Indiana is in trouble.

8 Florida at 5 Georgia 3:30 CBS
both teams have a loss. The loser will have 2 losses and is likely eliminated from playoff contention because their only road would be to beat Bama in the SEC Champ game and i doubt either of these teams could pull that off. I'm not sold on Georgia's QB. Where would Georgia be if they started Justin Field over Jake Fromm. Oh but Jake Fromm is a great guy and he won a bunch of games. So was Jalen Hurd and Saban was smart enough to kick him to the curb for the more talented Tua. Georgia is too conservative and it costs them in big games.

Houston at 6 Cincinnati 3:30 ABC
Not a typo. Cincy is ranked 6. Are they any good? They have wins over SMU and Memphis who are decent. Lots of pressure on Cincy to go undefeated. Their only shot at the playoff is to be undefeated.

1 Clemson at 4 Notre Dame 7:30 NBC
Clemson will be without Trevor again. Their backup QB was a big time recruit. Clemson struggled last week but maybe that was a letdown without Lawrence and a bit of looking ahead. Tough to judge ND so far. They haven't played a ranked team or even a very good team yet. Their defense is tough but that offense has been anemic at times. Have they been holding back? Maybe. They didn't have to show much to beat their easy schedule thus far.

Big game but it could ultimately be meaningless. It's highly likely these 2 will play again in the ACC champ game. If Clemson loses without Lawrence, they will get a total pass. Then if they win out and beat ND in the rematch they are almost certainly in the playoff. ND can also survive the loss if they beat Clemson in the rematch. This game means more for ND because if they win this then they just might be able to get in the playoff with a close loss to Clemson in champ game.

Stanford at 12 Oregon 7:30 ABC
the Pac 12 is back and Oregon looks like their only possiblity for the playoffs. Can any Pac team get in the playoff while only playing 6 games? They beter be 6 blowouts. Oregon has some high profile players who opted out.

Talk about an over rated college coach, Hairball should thank Michigan when he backs up to his pay check. Love Indiana shoved it down his throat. The game got out of hand so fast Hairball had no chance to ***** at the officials. Michigan should be at the plane sayin gooooddddbye

Michigan St. got throttled...

Watching Florida/Georgia - gruesome injury to a GA WR. The kids leg/foot was dangling badly. GA also looks like they may have a problem (injury) to their QB. Kyle Trask is a good QB...

He ain’t going anywhere
Who is your team?

Penn State is getting *** raped at home by Maryland. Turned it off at 21-0. I think it’s fair to say that this years team sucks.

Lil' Tua looks like a replica of his brother (talent-wise).

It's ok, Tape - Penn scored a TD now.

28 points and 337 yards allowed in the first half to a 27-point underdog. Penn State can still make the playoff, right, tape?

It's time to sit Clifford down. If Franklin had any balls.

Clifford absolutely stinks.

Is Penn State supposed to be good?

Yes. Consensus pick to finish No. 2 in the division behind Ohio State.

Clifford is just horrible. Overthrows left and right and tosses behind the receiver. Guy makes John Shaffer look like Elway.

While I agree completely, in fairness he has pretty much no one worth a **** to throw the ball to. And whoever is calling the plays is apparently Randy Fichtner’s protégée. Just a bad football team all around.

Kirby pulled his QB. Somebody should tell him his QB didn't allow 41 points in just over a half.

while that might be true, it should be obvious to anyone not named Steve Wonder that Stetson Bennett is completely ineffective, at least for today.

Are you even watching this game? He is overthrowing about 60% of his passes! Dotson and Freirmuth are very viable targets.

I guess Franklin has no balls. Three turnovers later, Clifford is still out there on the last drive of the game, padding his ****** stats against the prevent.

Then Jimmy decides to go for 2 (again!) and onside kicks it, yet. With 11 seconds left in the game. ******* joke. This clown is more clueless than Tomlin was on his worst day. And that's saying something.

Pitt 41 Florida State 17. About time they won one.

I was speaking in general. And if you read the thread you would know I turned it off at 21-0. No sense getting my hopes up.

This college football season is some of the worst football I've watched in years. PSU is atrocious with horrible coaching.

Between no fans in the stands and games being cancelled weekly.. I couldn't care less about college football.

So you made your assesment with about a quarter worth of gametime. GTFO with that BS. You couldn't be bothered to stick around to watch adjustments and how they played.....just make a "general" comment. Your input is worthless.

I think ND will slip up somewhere, they always seem to find a way to screw their season. I think they got pretty lucky this game. Their QB threw some ugly looking balls and was lucky to not get picked. I dont think Lawrence would have made much difference this game DJ played very well, but ND did a great job of shutting Etienne down. Clemson's D needs to improve.

You’re not talking about UGA right?

To hell with this season. Kirby ruined my optimism tonight.
Start JTD already
