Yep. No need to justify it. Was still in the field of play.

Correct, Jackson was trying for extra yardage. If he wanted to go out of bounds sooner, he could have. BS flag.

They're punting and we're getting the ball with serious momentum after a pick 6 and another stop. Game may have still ended up close but it kept the defense on the field and set the tone for the day

The excitement gone watching replay yesterday no way that should have been called. He was still in bounds and he showed five plays later as he stood on line bating someone to hit him how he plays.. All we here is Ben gets no calls because he can extend plays yet the officials ( this group sucked) tke no consideration in Lamar runs more than passes.

This is what I saw. Jackson was in the field of play. Heyward hit Jackson and Fitzpatrick got carried with the momentum to the ground like 8-10 feet out of bounds. The way I was coached, played and coach kids now is that you inflict as much legal damage on your opponent as you can in the field of play. Was it necessary? No. Was it legal? Absolutely.

it wasn't even a crushing hit, Heyward ran over and shoved them out of bounds

We need to get over this hit, it's not like it cost us the game. Sure they got a TD on that extended drive, but if you really want to be a fan base to ***** about an out of bounds calls, the Ravens have legit reasons to be salty for Judon being kicked out for touching a ref.

cope we have to ***** about something and that was a terrible call

the Judon call was a mistake...but you could only really tell that on replay. The ref got hit and he likely couldn't tell why Judon's arm flew out at him like it did. You make contact with a ref and you are gone...unless the ref is absolutely sure that it was just a mistake.

He did that **** more than once, using his feet to tiptoe forward for an extra foot instead of running out. Some day, and I cannot wait to see it, someone's gonna knock him the F out, and it will be great!

And it was Judon's own rage and his own team that caused the contact.
And it did not affect the possession of the ball.

The Judge call was unfortunate, but all the proximate causes were Rat efforts.

The Heyward call was just wrong, by officials.

Well I hear yaz Cope but you must realize that there isn't much about the team (STEELERS) that can be bitched about. As the "butchers" that we are, we have to devert our bitching toward the refs. This play merits the BItchIN so ******* will *****..

Look at is as a commonality of lowering blood pressure, kinda like a steam engine blowing it's whistle, lowering the pressure....

EDIT: "Butchers" should be "*******" as butcher are ******* too !!!

Salute the nation

I hear you Coolie. Though both plays resulted in first downs. Ravens benefitted from the Heyward call and got a TD on that drive. Steelers O got a first down and had Judon ejected from the game.

I'd argue a poorly called penalty on Heyward was less impactful than losing Judon for the game. This is why the Balmer Hons are pissed.
