DK Metcalf

To be honest about Bush's career he hasn't been in the NFL long enough to stamp him. He has looked overall good so far.

Totally agree.....he needs another season of experience. This injury really costs him.

Unfortunately Bush will always have that trade factor associated with him. The speculation.

Now a career like Troy’s would certainly put that to rest! Can’t remember anyone ever wondering who or what we could have gotten without moving up!

He's been good, but I'm not sure merely good is enough to justify investing a 1st, 2nd and 3rd round pick on an ILB.

More impact plays are needed, IMO.

Bush has started 21 games. The area he needs to improve is pass defense. Last year he allowed 67% of his targets in coverage to be complete for 435 yards and 5 TD's against. This year before he was hurt he's allowing 63.6% vs some below-average QB's. At his height, it's not going to work vs Tight ends. We saw that vs. the Denver TE. I think his awareness is a little off too. He's never going to be a bit hitter either.

The Steelers are using an extra DB in his spot for coverage at times and Spillane. So far, so good. I for one do not think the Steelers D misses him that much. If they lost Watt, Haden, Fitz, Heyward or Durpee, those five guys would be much harder to replace. I'm saying at best Bush was the 6th most valuable man on the defense, and you sure could argue Tuitt as the 6th best over Bush.

Bush is a good football player. No way is he a bust. I think we gave up too much to get him, which was my point on draft day. A 2nd and a 3rd? For that, I want the next Shazier. While Bush can improve some, I do not see a Ryan Shaizer level player.

Against Minnesota he totally took over game in fourth quarter the yikes couldn’t stop him it’s great to have a guy like that looks like chase out of that mold big physical great desire to dominate go steeelllersss!
