You think Henry will get a hat over Carlos?

Question.... so last week Deon Cain was the ONE player brought up, and there were 6 inactive players.
This week, with 2 players being brought up in elliott and Edmunds... will that take it back to 7 inactives? I’m not 100% brushed up on the game day active rules this year.

If this indeed does make it to where 7 inactives are necessary, I’ll say I like the 5 + Mindeaux and let’s say..... Samuels?

Samuels is still being utilized in fast attacks and situational plays.

Inactive numbers have to do with the number of active offensive linemen. If you have 8 active OLs, you can have a few as 5 inactives. if you have 7 active OLs, you must have at least 6 inactives. We have been carrying 6 inactives for no real reason, other than I don't think some of these players have a role. Gentry, Davis, and UG3 had no role. When Bush went down, UG3 should become active and probably take some ST snaps.

And Slash, Yes I do think Henry gets the hat. Here's my reasoning:
Steelers don't have an injury at all on the DL, and usually go with 5 active DLs with 1 inactive (Carlos). If we are moving the number of DLs from 6 to 7, why call up a DL player at all? It's because they want to utilize him against this rushing attack. Henry will play and Carlos is being redshirted IMHO.

Good call.
