Robert Spillane To Start In Place Of Devin Bush

Nits not trolling. Anyone who watches the game knew about your elusive Green Dot captain cranim size.

Also Steeler in Lebanon is right on point. You do self felllate constantly. You do post obvious posts , just to see your name up there or something. It's really odd and embarrassing. And you typpe your posts as if you're Mel kiper, when you really know as much about football as Mel Torme.

The board's bleeding vagina has spoken. Stop trolling my stuff, and there won't be a problem. That's all.

I read this article and realized that I too am no Kieth Butler. I have a lot of faith in Spillane and Allen - Gilbert back-ups but what I didn't know was with Hilton down, Nelson goes to the slot and Layne moves to outside duties, Sutton stays in the dime role. I thought Sutton was the other slot guy. Another realization was that I forgot completely about Sean Davis being in the safety mix.

I guess I'll hafta pull my DC application for now anyway.

raw

Layne was eaten alive when he played outside. He might have improved, but at this point I don't want to find out if he can be trusted as the outside cornerback. I have some faith in Spillane. Allen, not so much. Edmunds has not been a problem this year, but he's not creating any turnovera either. Edumuds has not had an interception in his last 34 games.

not trolling your dumb babblings. Just letting you know your posts are self fellating and stupid. Now go get your shine box.

Whatever bleeding Vag. I'm here to talk football. You lack the acumen to counter in a football sense, so you go to your sophomoric insults.

It's so obvious, If I asked another poster to post my stuff as an experiment, you say thumbs up / good point. But If I post it, your remain the angry dumb F you are.

Like I said talk football with me, and I won't make fun of you watching the game in a trailer. Or remain angry that you pay to reply to my posts.

You want to make fun of people that pay to keep this site going and give you a microphone?

That is cowardly and uncool.

And make no mistake, even with a different name, your posts are largely unmistakable. Just like how POP is so easy to find...

This guy has issues. It is almost always he who slings mud first, so once in a while I choose to hit back at him. The truth can hurt. He deserved it. I'm for the mods running a cleaner board. It is what it is.

If you have any suggestions on how to deal with a troll like this, I'll listen and offer a handshake to him to end it. Promise. I'll bet he declines.

It might interest out to lean that I do post on another Steeler board. I just seldom mention the negative stuff, and they really like it. Here my style is a bit different. I say what I think, not worrying who is offended. It's rather liberating.

If you want to experiment, I'll post a friendly fanboy post and PM it to you. You can post it for me, and I bet it gets lots of thumbs up. We can try it once for the heck of it. Of course, now that you know who is reading it, it will probably prevent a certain post from giving you a thumbs up for a while. Not that you care about that stuff.

I can't post for you, but I hear you.

Just stop with the banging on members for contributing and people's economic states. It's disingenuous and plays to the board image of you being an elitist.

It's been said multiple times. Take a joke, admit when you are wrong, and don't self promote. When you have a lot of excellent takes, your rep grows on this site. Let your honest posts stand for themselves, and you'll have a much better time here.

If you're posting good takes, I will bump them. I have in the past. Just keep the discussions going. It's a good tactic that you are starting to do. Stick to the football arguments and force the haters to do the same.

Uh Coach, read over your post again. Real carefully.

And Spillane was laying the wood today.

So is spillane hurt enough that it impacts his availability next week? If so trade for a guy asap
He came back but today exposed us on the inside.

If we want to keep pace. Get the flip on the phone and make a trade before November 3rd!!!

Only two sacks today because we had to play carefully without Devin...

Ugh- Came here to read about Spillane and it is nothing but more inane Coach bashing.

People have opinions about football, that is all that it is, an opinion. Bash the point.

Spillane knocked Henry so hard- He knocked himself out of the game, momentarily.

It was good to see the General (Ulysses) pointing out where people should be. It was tough to lose Bush but I am hopeful after this game. It is still a huge loss.

It looks like the Steelers replaced Bush with an extra DB. As for Splliane, he meet Henry in the hole and stopped him. Probably the hardest thing to do for a inside linebacker. He played fine and was no weak link. If he didn't know the defense, there is no way he would be wearing the green dot.

Tannehill passed for 220 hards, but 70 of them came from one play when Fitz blew a tackle. Outside of that I saw little drop off from Bush. Williams as predicted cleaned up with 10 tackles.

Heyward, Dupree, and Tuitt, had a combined 2 tackles, zero sacks. A problem that better not repeat itself. That fact, not missing Bush is why we only had 2 sacks.

That was a straight up Okie drill. I loved those. Beautiful hit he put on a a mack truck. Just hope no long term effects from it.

True but neither equate to Devin Bush. We need to look for a trade partner.

He didn't blow a tackle, he bit for a second on the playaction and therefore was late on his angle.

The Titans saw what they did to a good Browns OL last week and adjusted accordingly. Well-coached team. Add they have a good OL and blocking TEs. They're not going to be just completely dominant every damn week.

1 ) Who's out there to pick up via trade and even if we did how long would it take that person to learn the defense? I don't want to part with a high draft pick. No way.

2 ) Bush had 1 sack in 5 games. And just 1 sack all last year. Nothing special. Williams is solid on the middle blitz. We need Dupree, Heyward and Tuitt to contribute.

3 ) In his last 3 games Bush had 2, 1, and 2 solo tackles. Spillane today also had 2 solo tackles, missing a portion of the game.

I'm not saying Spillane is as good as Bush, I'm saying the drop off between the two has not been much so far and the Steelers are better off playing a DB in Bush's place for nickel and dime coverage. Bush was picked on quite a bit in pass coverage this year.

Why waste your energy explaining? You know some of these cats just want to find a reason to complain.

Brown does not score if Vince gets his hands up a 10th of a second faster.

The tipped balls - who can you blame those on? Maybe we need to implement shifting the pocket some?

I know Butler moved with Chase most of the game but not getting him more plays gave them a small advantage.

55 faked an injury to slow us down. Obvious and should be a fine moving forward...

Post the video, yes he was a second late, a reason the play went 70 yards. The other is he fell down.

Yeah, but it's no sweat off my back. 6-0 baby, I'm a happy camper. Not happy about our ILB situation like you, but you know what I mean.
