I actually thought Edmunds had a decent game for a change, breaking up a key pass.

Hilton is usually reliable today he was not.

Forget the 2 picks by nelson, one was a gift the other a 2 on 1 chuck up. He's got coverage issues, and Haden is not longer the same player he was 3 years ago.

Our pass rush MUST do the job. That's my short take.

Hilton got home with a few of his like 8-10 blitzes but is pretty small against some targets. Haden is playing sub par and Fitzpatrick has not made a ball play in 4 games.

I'm not sure what the deal is with Fitzpatrick.

He just does not seem as explosive or alert in the open field as he was in 2019.

I recall an interview over the off-season where he said his role in the 2019 defense was simplified due to him joining the team in the middle of the season and his role was going to be expanded in 2020.

I don't know if they have him thinking too much or what, but he was too good in 2019 for it to have been a fluke.

The Eagles were only throwing to one guy today and the Steelers couldn't do anything to stop him. Nelson has been bad this year and Haden a step slow. Hilton is great at blitzing and stopping the run, but so-so in coverage. If the front seven isn't getting pressure, the defensive backfield isn't getting the job done this year.
