Heinz field is permitted to have 7,500. Doubt you’ll be able to even tell any are there at that low capacity but oh well.

7,500 people? **** I bet they get more than that at Friday night lights in Texas.

The guy at the department of health also said they will lower the capacity if needed. 7,500 is like nothing, if they lower that then just don’t let anyone in again. I know this was probably tough for the governor to loosen the leash he thinks he has.

As a fan, would you go ? I doubt anyone wants to wear a mask for that long and NOT much fan base to interact with. To me it would be a FAIL to attend considering the cost and risk not just at the game but bringing something home.

If I was local, yeah I'd go. Not sure how they are handling pricing and tickets. I am not going to fly out for a game this year.

I’d absolutely go. These tickets will be outrageously overpriced once they hit the ticket exchange. It will be all season ticket holders selling them.

So it’ll be just like every other game this season. Won’t be able to even tell their fans there.. what a joke.

Absolutely. I wear a mask all day at work and to coach so wearing it to sit and watch a game is a not an issue. I really don't see going to the game as much of a risk factor. That place will be empty with 5,500 fans.

I want to say something is better than nothing. Perhaps not the ideal amount but better than no amount.................

I’m curious what number Happy Valley will have. More or less than what Heinz Field was allowed. Wolf playing favorites?

The max is 7,500 for any event outdoors. If anything it’ll be less. I’m guessing the university won’t allow any fans.

5,500 fans is a slap in the face. They can adequately socially distance by allowing a lot more fans than that. With different levels, they can bump this number up to maybe 20K with no issues. They are being cautious to start and will increase capacity over time if there are no known outbreaks from sporting events.

I can't see Wolf and company bumping it up much more than what it is now. Hopefully I'm wrong.
