Last Columbus day, with family, we were talking about the day. My niece, 17 years old, started on Columbus and what a vile piece of **** he was. You name it, Columbus was all that and way worse. Now...where the **** did she get that from? Her parents didn't teach her. And that's the problem. Most parents have very little involvement in their kids' education with anything past "Did you finish your homework?" And the system is creating these little minds by the thousands and thousands.

Even though I teach science I have an endorsement in 7-12 history. So since I love history I talk about Columbus, Indians, and the founding fathers. Luckily we have a good history teacher that has Bible verses on her wall and teaches real history. I understand most public schools suck but not all of them. We have a principal who is in the national guard and we say the pledge every morning. Every room has an American flag in it with the words in God we trust under it.

It is a dumb name. Every group organization has its members who do not fit. My point really is any group that takes up the American torch of liberty,freedom and is patriotic?

They get smeared and vilified. This country needs a serious counter to all of this left wing indoctrination and violence going on or we will bleed on out.

Analysis does not have to be rooted in your emotion of the day.

Both Trump and Biden are repeat offenders of the polite sensibility. One gets judged more harshly. Because of of folks emotion....

I have no problem with President Trumps conduct in the debate. When you have to debate the moderator as well as the other candidate you have to interrupt just to make it fair and get your points in.

Sounds just like the school I work in. Small town schools are mostly very different from big city schools and big city teachers unions. My Principal is a staunch Democrat, but he's a small town rural Democrat who owns a bunch of guns and rides a Harley in his spare time. We were talking the other day and he said he thinks anyone who is hoping Trump dies from Covid is a ******* piece of ****. I told him I couldn't agree more. Any time I hear about these maniac teachers and schools and their ridiculous ideas it is a totally foreign concept to me.
 
Following the debate the crazy lefty that Albion hired as President from Brown University sent this awsome letter to the Albion community. God I can't wait for my son to done with that place. It wasn't bad until they hired this *******.

This week, we witnessed the President of the United States refuse to condemn a racist and extremist group on national television. Instead, he told the Proud Boys, who have been repeatedly linked to white supremacy and acts of violence, to “stand back and stand by.” This came shortly after he opened the debate by using a racist slur.
 Did I miss this or is he just ******* insane?

This open and public racism cannot be overlooked. Instances like these embolden white supremacist individuals and groups, giving rise to acts of violence and hate. They foster a climate of fear where Black people, Indigenous people and people of color do not feel safe studying, working or simply running errands. Just last month, a person felt empowered to impersonate a state police officer in order to stop and frisk a Black student here at Albion.


At every opportunity, we must continue to push back against white supremacy. We must call out racism and bias every time we see or hear it. If we don’t, we are tacitly endorsing it. Beyond the calling out, we must protect and support the members of our community who feel threatened and unsafe when such language is used. I encourage each of us to consider ways we might offer support to vulnerable community members in the days ahead.


Albion’s commitment to be boldly anti-racist has now moved from commitment to action in conversations underway to facilitate the development of a Blueprint for Belonging for every unit, department and group within the College. Responding to language like this, used in the public square, in ways that make clear our community standards, will become part of our College Blueprint for Belonging.


I am proud to stand alongside all of you in this work.

I just went and watched Trump's first opening segment. I didn't hear any slur of any kind.

And as far as denouncing white supremist...How many times does he have to do it?






Also. That President signs his letter with his accepted pronouns? Good God, we're ******.........******.

Caught the opening of SNL on replay and naturally it was the debate. Jim Carrey was pretty good as Biden but I LOL'd when Maya Rudolph came out as Kamala Harris wearing a pearl necklace.
 
One poll today has Biden up 16% nationally, I guess Trump won the debate.
 
16 points seems like a lot, but still think Trump will get crushed.
He just doesn't seem to get it and can't stay out of his own way. Can't remember who i had the bet with?
