Yes it is man. Stop with the emotional overreaction. Every coach makes that call right there when getting the ball after the half.
fair point. He did get a great extension, but we see QBs getting overpaid all the time. And Im really not saying he is getting over paid anyway. Im not saying he is not good, but he does not play like this every game. He cannot miss right now. That is all Im saying. To use your contract analogy, he is exceeding his contract at least in the 1st half. He might not do it in the 2nd half, but the first half he didnt make a mistake really at all. Ben makes what $35M per year and he overthrew his receiver on consecutive plays by 8-10 yards and one was into double coverage. I havent see Watson throw into double coverage yet I guess because we keep giving him wide open seams for his receivers and he hits them between the numbers everytime.Watson’s contract begs to differ with your assessment.
