What Cope touched on with McFarland has me wondering if the running game will see a new wrinkle. If he gets playing time the other two backs should take notice. He will have to show he can block but maybe that is progressing......

Is a good point on the Penalties. I absolutely hate the PI rules anymore but they are what they are. Have to play within them.

I would add to the things to watch list is turnovers. If you throw, INT's will happen, but don't take bad ones. Most importantly, when you have the ball in your hands, don't put it on the deck. hang on to the rock.

@slash will be interesting to see what OL depth they carry into gameday. Certainly would be nice to get a slot open for McFarland and see what the kid can do.

I think they would go with BigDot and Hass as he seems to be the emergency C. With Feiler being position flexible I think you can go with that and not have to give Hawkins a hat.
If one Rb is activated who is the Rb who sits? Jaysam? It will be interesting to see how it unfolds.... this idea is in the event Hawkins gets a hat of course.

I think they will be sitting Gray. They've had one OL on the inactive and it had been DD due to injury.

Oh yeah definitely Gray. I wonder now that DeCastro is back if they will replace Gray and put him back to the PS. Probably depends on injury....

trouble spot is center I think. IIRC, wis could play but he out. Dotson needs to focus on G. so they keep an extra C. not sure he can play G or not. if the had a swing G C maybe they could open a GameDay hat for McFarland.

What to keep my eye on...

Who dey gonna chase Claypool this week?

Better used for the Bungles game but still. lol

Is there going to be a prediction thread?

Keep an eye on our pass rush. The Texans give up lots of sacks. I can see Watt or Dupree having good days and maybe forcing a fumble.

Watson is overrated. He's also the 2nd highest paid QB in the NFL. This combed with JJ Watt's cap number of $15,000.00 ( it's 17 million next year ) which is way too high for a player on the decline and giving Johnson 20 million over two years, who has had bad production in 2017, 2018, and 2019 signals their GM, to quote our favorite poster from Houston is a f()@ktard.

Like the Steelers they are negative cap space next year.

No nobody wants you posting one.

That's not what I was asking. I did it last year for a season, and 10+ people offered their predictions every week, with good content. So, as usual, you're wrong!

Your ASVAB score must be in the 30's.
