I hope he has a great game but reality is he's a rookie with NO training camp or OTAs under his belt. He will do well considering and a growing pAIN OR TWO.

you go Big Dot

EDIT: I meant pre-season not training camp,..... dang brain wasn't WOKE enough

His short body of work looked good. We will have to see how he does on stunts- blitzes.

He looked good in the small sample we saw.

expect a lot of stunts going his way, he has the strength but he lacks experience and any decent coach would know that

Knew DD was going to miss another game. The question now becomes, how long is he really out for?

the crazy thing is, it's a knee issue, saw him on the sidelines in shorts vs the Giants, he had no brace, ice, or any kind of wrap on it.

I am hoping he plays so well when DD comes back they slide him over and put Feiler back at tackle.

Big Dot will be fine as he know a hell of a lot more than anyone of us. Sorry SteveA I think you're giving something he wouldn't want to take.

Why ??? I am as good a Monday morning QB as the rest in here...Besides Dude I couldn't even get off the Bench as a Senior in High School until the final :023 of garbage time for our HOMECOMING game when I was on the field for a Brawl as the game ended in 1979.

Of course he should take my advice.

Sounds like my HS career. Down 48-0 at homecoming and they throw me in the final minute. I intercept the QB (Playing FS) and ran it back 50 yards. I was a JR and it was the only positive play of the game. Got a lot of kudos from the seniors at the dance for that play.

You sure you didn't throw for 4 tds to bring Polk High a Championship?

No I was the emergency QB, and we never got to that, fortunately. Though I played center eligible in our flag football league in college. I was one of 2 centers that could snap a football, between my legs, without looking (QB is usually 7yds back). They allowed most centers to 'snap' sideways. Couldn't line a man up over me, so I always had a free release, and they usually had MLBs trying to keep up with my speed. I led our team in TDs, receptions, and yardage.

One game our QB couldn't make it. I was calling the plays for another QB, and after 2 drives of him not getting it, he said you QB. We were down by 2 TDs. We won at the end and I did throw 5 TDs, but it was flag so...

Still it was a ton of fun to do, and my friend who was the ref, and didn't think I could play QB at all, was surprised at how I was performing. The other team got mad because I threw no look passes. Mostly on releases where they blitzed off that side so I knew my guy was wide open. They said, he can't do that! My buddy who was the ref said, show me in the rules where a QB has to look at his target. Got it from my basketball days...
