By: Michael Stiffler, @Stiffeezy_ on Twitter SteelerNation.com   Yesterday was a big day in the NFL as teams were required to cut their rosters down to 53. Today is the start of the madness where teams will continue to shuffle their rosters after reviewing what the rest of the league did.* The Pittsburgh Steelers have […]

William Gay also left for a minute, came back and was great value for money for a few years at DB. Maybe same from Davis?

Sorry, I don't understand the Dobbs pick up. Davis yes, as depth or the hybrid or something. But Dobbs. No...

Well off the top of my head as said elsewhere he can imitate the rats Jackson on the scout team and if I am not mistaken he has won an NFL game where the Duck..................hasn't.

I was at a game last year that Duck started and finished with a W, but I get your point.

Probably wrong about Duck's wins my memory sometimes eludes me. My mom used to call it CRS (can't remember ****)

Didnt duck win 3 games last year?

Like all of us.....Slash is still in pre season form. Fortunately as a veteran he will be given the benefit of the doubt. A rookie might have been cut & maybe signed to the practice squad today. We expect more as the real season gets started.

Hmmmmmm. A Practice Squad forum for the board were we can relegate less than worthy or misbehaving board members for timeouts without having to ban them. Interesting Idea.

Don’t forget last year BGD...We had a great defense and the QB position cost us a season for the ages. Last year we all were screaming at the TV at the absolute worst QB’ing possibly of all time. All the time we put into him, he certainly could have done a better job than “The Duck” & “The Red Nosed Reindeer”.

If Ben has a set back, we had nothing behind him. Until “The Red Nosed Reindeer” shows he isn’t a sack waiting to happen, something had to be done.

The worst all time? You guys never saw Malone play...

What if one foggy Xmas eve... Rudolph was to play. Maybe he would shine so bright and keep his helmet in a fight.....

Finks and Dick Shiner way back when brought plenty of suck. But my nod would have to go to Graham.

Yeah, Finks and Shiner were before my time. The first Steelers QB I can remember was Terry Bradshaw. Jim Finks ended up being a pretty good GM though.
