By Matt Papiernik, @Matt_Papiernik on Twitter SteelerNation.com   Finally! Sports! Football! It was so good to see something related to one of the major professional sports taking place again. The 2020 NFL Draft was definitely unique, as everyone was in their homes, there were no draft parties for the players, and people were still booing […]

On our big board. I have 23 players ranked higher than our draft slot 17 picks in. There will be a lot of talent there, and those numbers increase if another QB or 2 are taken before us.

There has been some noise that the Cheats are offering 3-3rd rounders to move up to 49? The extra draft capital would be nice, but I hope they pick Tee Higgin's if he is sitting there at 49. If not, Pittman or another WR may be there. We need a guy that will stretch the field and allow JuJu to move back into the slot where he will light it up! JMO

3 thirds is tough to give up in this draft. The problem is you go from 49 to 87, then get 98 and 100. You should be able to package 2 of the 4 picks they have in the 3rd, to move back up in the third, but it would take work to get any value for losing another 28 spots for your first pick.

Actually it would drop us 38 picks but I realize with everything you have going on at this time your not as well rested as my lazy *** and your point is just as valid. If our pick in round two arrives and the round one, early round two talent is gone, I'd seriously consider taking the offer and following Cope's suggestion of moving up in round three. There's allot of talent available in the top 100.

Where's the link???

That's too far to drop w/ no picks on the board, IMO...

Great Catch KS!

I've done some draft positioning review, and that NE trade probably won't happen. There are 2 teams that would make sense to trade with to earn draft capital:

LA Rams: Picks 52, 57, 84 (We'd get one of the 2nds and the 3rd

Miami Dolphins: Picks 56 and 70

Neither team needs a QB, so a trade up is probably slim for these teams. NE could happen, but it would take a lot of work by Colbert and Omar to translate 2 of those 4 3rd round picks into a late 2nd or early 3rd.

Give yourself a timeout Cope.......... can't imagine you would miss Belicheat scamming us by 10 positions......... you gotta remember who you are dealing with........
and weren't you one of those guys ....rassing Roger Goodell last night.... shame.........
Sorry ...I just remembered .....I was the other guy.... carry on........ nothing to see here
Cheers

The steelers draft strategy is to have plenty of fan favourites available at 49 and draft someone else few people have heard of. You heard it here first. Try not to break your tv or laptop people.
