Juju to 49ers Rumors

if true, it would be really hard to do it, but I think I would do it.... i paused just now and was thinking... no way, you keep JuJu even if you don't re-sign him in the future and get that comp pick.

But having a 1st round pick can do wonders, add a ILB to match with Bush, add the best RB, add top OT, add top S... or even trade down and get more picks!

If I were San Fran I would take CeeDee Lamb with their 1st pick and keep the 31 .......

Juju needs to have a solid season after last year before he's crowned proven. He was highly mediocre last year. Granted the QB situation sucked and he was dealing with injuries, but he still has some work to do to be considered proven.

No way does he drop to 1.31 - Lamb is an elite WR. Same goes for Jerry Jeudy - elite WR; I think they'll both be gone by 1.16...

Call me crazy but Henry Ruggs could go before or very closely after both - the kid as Olympic speed and runs routes better than both of the top two WR's.

He's saying the 9ers take Lamb at 13 and keep 31 instead of trading for JuJu.

Damn! Just when I was starting to get riled up! Honestly I could have seen the logic from both team's; SF could use a vet to replace Sanders- Jimmy G and the offense took off once they added him. And the Steelers could use the cap space and pick up a young stud in a WR loaded draft. And.......I would have actually watched the first round of the draft tomorrow instead of waiting for Friday to tune in!

Berm keeps his Tide-*** covered for sure, lol. Love ya, Berm

Dulac can say what he wants. People can believe what they want. I will now be watching the end of round one. They may have a specific player they are targeting. Maybe even a QB. If the player falls to 31 it could be on.

Gerry Dulac is about as reliable as my friend Horace Schitt

I agree it would make the draft more interesting if we got involved on day one ...... God we are a deprived bunch without sports...

Source of Dulac's information: Someone probably high up in the Steelers organization who called Dulac after local radio guys caught wind of this fake rumor to immediately extinguish the flames. Bottom line is the Steelers wanted no part of this and not a single person in the NFL world took this "rumor" seriously.

If you trade away JuJu, the pick we get in round 1 MUST be then used on a WR. It would not be used on the D or the OL or a RB. We would have no No. 1 WR and would be hoping Diontae makes a huge leap to get there. We would need someone to come in and start game 1 with no camp (due to COVID) and be our No. 2 WR. That's a lot of wishing and hoping for a team that seems all in on trying to win a SB this year.

We would absolutely have to bring in a vet WR to give that room some stability. Maybe a Chris Hogun or someone that's been round the block.

I'll take anything that makes round one interesting.

Not with the depth at WR in this draft. You could pick up JuJu's heir apparent in the 2nd round. Hard to believe that, but it's true.
