Keyeron Fox on the kickoff of the Steelers Packers SB. Was just on NFLN. That game was in full contention still even after Mendenhall fumble. They have two minutes to drive the field. Was it stupid by Fox. Absolutely!! But that was a ***** flop if ever I saw one. Someone pushes someone that hard at minimum twice a game. In fact, I bet there was multiple uncalled fouls in that game many times worse. The ref should have just walked over and said, "Consider the situation boys". The play calling that led to not converting was pretty ******. But still, if that series opens at 26 where it was and Ben zaps it down the middle to Heath like that, you are close to mid field and the playbook is WIDE open. Just brutal.

OUR non-adjusting coaching staff had a way bigger hand in that loss than your most under rated BS call (I agree on the BS call).

Salute the nation

Yeah considering what they had on defense still pretty close to their prime they definitely under performed. Ben had a tough start, but was pretty much on fire at the end. Still a ridiculous call and they were a score away from winning the thing. They had some problems with gap control in the secondary. Much like the Fitzgerald TD in the Steelers last SB. When the safeties are like 20-25 yards off the play there is a massive void past the linebackers. So basically being afraid of the big play creates the big play.

Coming out flat and making few adjustments in the course of the game had way more to do with the loss than a bad call by an official.

For sure. But say on the fourth down attempt to Wallace (I don't think there was PI there), Ben got rocked on a roughing the passer. No call. Are you gonna say that wasn't important or had an effect on the outcome. It was 13 yards in a 2 min drill. That's pretty ****** big actually.

stop it! We’re not the Jaguars. We don’t sit our and complain about one bad call ten years ago. Those asshats still complaining about Myles Jack not being down, ignoring the fact that they turtled when they had the lead.

If you’re going to complain about one call against the Packers, are you also going to talk about calls that went in our favor against the Seahawks?

Bad calls happen every game. Some go in our favor. Others don’t. Champions win in spite of the zebras.

**** y'all. It was a brutal call at the most critical point of the game. If they win they have 7 SBs and Ben has three. And that particular group is second only to the Pats as this generations greatest team. So suck it!!!

Kemo getting pushed into Ben early in the game for an INT was also a huge play. That ****** us hard

WOW. Talk about a reality check. 10 years since we made it to the Super Bowl, 12 since we've won. Talk about a decade of underachieving!

The 2nd down and 5 at the 33 yard line with 1:34 on the clock and down by 6 was another play that killed their chances. They didn't get the play off until 1:08 left on the clock while Mike Wallace was waving left and right he didn't know the play call...Ben gets a little pressure and fires it 15 yards over Wallace's head who never made any real attempt to separate from the CB because he didn't know the call.

Not that I remember it too well.
