For a 5th?!! Geez

The Jaguars and Ravens have agreed in principle to a trade that would send Pro Bowl DE Calais Campbell to Baltimore for a 2020 fifth-round pick, per sources. Campbell will try to finalize an extension with Baltimore.

5th rounder basically free

What's our guys up to these days???

He'll be 34 this season and his sack numbers were down last season, so a 5th rounder is really no surprise.

He'll also be guaranteed 20mil on a 2year 24mil deal. Must be nice to have a QB on a rookie deal.

Wow, that's really outside what the Ravens do on D. Not having Ozzie has them pulling in 34yr old defensive linemen and talking about an extension?? That's fiscal irresponsibility IMHO.

Outside of Brady you can pretty much track teams with QBs like Wilson and Mahomes as SB qbs. Once you get to the fat part of the deal no one can afford a supporting cast.

Yeah, not seeing all the hype with this one. This is a 33 y/o defensive lineman coming off of a 6 sack season, in a career that’s been alright. He had one massive year in Jacksonville when their defense was littered with high production. It was “pick your poison” in ‘17 for Jacksonville. Other than that, he’s an over-the-hill, and now overpaid defensive lineman. Baltimore let Zadarius Smith walk, are now looking at potentially letting another young up and coming pass rusher walk in Matthew Judon, for this guy? I think I’d be pretty pissed if I was a rats fan.

If the steelers in successive years let Bud and Watt leave and then signed a 33 years old declining player for $20 Mil guaranteed, i'd be going apeshit. If they let Jodon leave then that's essentially what the ravens have done. Judon is no Watt but the point remains, allow 2 young up and coming guys to leave and sign an old guy. Fine by me if that's how they want to play it

Judon was tagged.

Who in the HeLL is going to replace Colbert when him and Tomlin leave ??

Ozzie had a pretty good handle on things as evident as to how competitive they have been over the years. This isn't a make or break but it does contribute.

exactly, Campbell made the pro bowl on name alone, he had 6.5 sacks last season, forced 1 fumble, and will be 34 before the season starts.
