Tomlin sucks

Tomlin doesn't know how to be aggressive. After 13 years it should be apparent that he doesn't understand the game - ANY aspect of it. He doesn't develop talent. He doesn't scheme. He doesn't adjust. He does the same thing year after year after year. You might reasonably ask why he hasn't improved over that 13 years. Anyone else would have, or would have been dismissed. Especially with the talent he was given charge of. He entirely lacks the intellect to stand where he stands. And the Rooneys put themselves in the untenable position of owning the Rooney rule. So they have squandered 13 years of a HoF franchise QB and loads of other talent, some HoFers as well. They've lost to countless poor teams they should have mauled. They repeatedly show up for games like the one tonight (read: must win on national TV) utterly unprepared to such a lowly extent that even their talent can't overcome. Its a colossal, spectacular failure that repeats itself like a bad dream. And it WILL NOT change until the Rooneys swallow their Rooney rule and move along.

The Rooneys have shown their base how much they care about them and their 'storied' franchise. They don't. Or they would have jettisoned the tool that wanders their sideline wondering. Wondering. Wandering. And sometimes wandering into the path of a player on his way to the endzone.

Post season?!! Are you high?

I’ve asked this question before and I’ll ask again. What the **** does he do extremely well????
Seriously! The guy cannot make game adjustments, discipline his squad, awareness of when to challenge plays(another blown opportunity Sunday night), does not develop defensive secondary, plays favorites(Bud we know you’re out there), horrible at game preparation, plays down to competition, overlooks opponents (Jags can tell you), can’t even give a presser that makes sense (Duh, we didn’t use Nix because of environment) What does that even mean?

I think when Ernie Adams watches our offense, everything is telegraphed to him.

This isn't about stealing signals. I just think we're predictable in our "sneakiness". I think Ben is predictable when the Patriots "show" him something on how he reacts.

I think Belichick and Adams have been toying with Tomlin and Ben (and whoever the OC is) for a generation.

There were numerous plays on Sunday night it just looked like the Patriots knew what was coming or had the right defense called perfectly. You guys love conspiracy ****, but I think they just out coached us from both in the sky (Adams) and on the field (Belichick and the LB with the dot).

We're just a very dumb team. If we don't make extraordinary "splash" plays that have 50% to do with talent and 25% to do with coaching and 25% to do with bad opponents, than we look bad. We just don't out think anyone. Ever.

I don’t know why Rooney’s can’t see that we will not win another chip with Tomlin as our coach.

It took 5 years and 10 1st rounders to get a promising defense............................ does BEN have that many years left....................???

LOL, actually, change the names around then you have something.

4th and short vs Jax in the playoffs before Fichtner was OC, Tomlin calls a toss right to Bell,
1. it was 4th and short the jags defenders were all at the LOS, a ******* Toss isn't going to work to a slow RB.
2. there is no chance for Bell to get the corner because we called that ******* play to the short side of the field!
3. it's 4th and short, yet we call a play that asks us to toss the ball to our RB who is ******* 7 yards behind the LOS.

On the Tomlin Board over at Scout, they call that a "Ben audible."

I'm sure, eventhough supposedly Ben is selfish and always wants to make the plays in the passing game.

I thought the other 4th down call was the Ben audible, the throw to JuJu. I bet the 2 DL personnel scheme on goal line and short yardage is Ben's call too.

I think someone woke up and realized we needed to sign an impact player at corner and make a splash trade to be decent.

Is this a new thread ?????

It's all about Tomlin's "never had a losing season" streak. My guess is that they don't even inquire about a trade to help the defense if Ben is playing. They don't trade for Vannett either. But they've got to get those 8 wins at all costs.

First think about the talent we have, then think about how far we have to go to be as good as Andy Reid's team.
Sorry to ruin your day.

Simply keeping AB from full blown *** clown that he is now shows you he’s a great coach!

Keeping ab on the team and bowing to him for that long shows he’s dumb as ****. It helps explain why they have 3 playoff wins in 10 yrs. the Dallas cowboys have 2 and are considered a laughing stock for their playoff failures

Of course, and a genius too as evidenced by his end of season presser (yeah, he really said that):

https://247sports.com/nfl/pittsburg...f-season-press-conference-analysis-141480357/

MT: "We are about to begin that process with each guy individually and tailor programs to bring the best out of them and to gain some clarity about what the journey of improvement is going to look like, because that is how we collectively improve. At the appropriate time, we are going to analyze our schematics and our division of labor from a coaching staff perspective in an effort to do similar things. That’s a good component of it for us, to study the trends within the game, our place within those trends, whether we are on the right side of the curve or whether we are lagging. There is a lot of discussion to be had."

We don't even have to look at the modern Cowboys: Chuck Noll won 2 playoff games during same time frame in 1980's with Mark Malone/Bubby Brister -- universally thought of as the worst years in modern franchise history.
