By Adam McCoy SteelerNation.com It has only been 2 weeks, but it already feels like an eternity since we’ve seen the Pittsburgh Steelers play. There were plenty of memorable moments that defined the season, but most of them can be wrapped up pretty simply, the defense was elite, and the offense left a lot to […]

sounds like he had it going on in college but strange that he was unemployed.
seems he likes some trickery. maybe some will rub off on tomlin and fitchner

CMVLT is doing something needed to be done. Congrats to him. Now get rid of Fitchner and bring in Bienemy as an assistant head coach and OC.

Salute the nation

I'm not sure about the Dline coach Dunbar and and the DB coach Bradley. Maybe Olsavsky ,they might have some chops. But most of the rest of them, I don't think they could teach a dog to take a **** on a lawn. If a unit is weak at the start there is never any improvement. So I welcome anyone that might be able to teach something.

Good to see them address this early in our offseason. No reason to let this become an issue for the next season.

Canada has a lengthy college resume, and was most recently at Maryland. He’s also coached at LSU, N.C. State, Pitt, and Wisconsin in recent years.

Guy can't hold a job, doesn’t seem to stay anywhere very long. Wonder why?

Maybe he sends erotic interoffice emails like that one guy. What was his name??

Glad to see they made a move as a QB coach was needed. I don't know a thing about the guy. Can only hope he is the right guy for the role. I certainly understand the concerns others point out.

NOW they get a ******* QB coach?

It didn't occur to **** for Brains that maybe, given the youth and inexperience of the QBs on the roster all season that maybe, MAYBE a QB coach could have been useful THIS season?

This is coming two years late. The Steelers dropped the ball with Rudolph. Zero reason for him to be the No. 3 his rookie season. Was Dobbs really that much better that he got all of those backup snaps that Rudolph could've used? They didn't even hand him the No. 2 job last year to provide him with valuable reps. To have no QB coach when you draft a guy who could be the future was just poor management.

I do like the Canada hiring. He'll bring a different perspective to an offensive meeting room that could use some new ideas.

The next time we hire a quality coach will be the first time in too many years.

Larry "Dirk Diggler" Zeirlein.

That's him. Looked it up. He got the email from Doug Whaley and basically forwarded it to everyone including Goodell. Haha, sounds like an episode of The Office. He ended up in the UFL after that. Had a short stint as an assistant Oline coach in of course Arizona.

It was as enough they went with two raw QBs to backup Ben which ultimately bit them in the ***. But yeah let's give two jobs two one college coach. What could go wrong?

Now all they need to do is to bring in Ron Mexico, and they'll have both borders covered.
