Penn Sate football sued

I think it's a complete joke. He whines about "hazing". Grow a pair. He would never make it in the pros. Players "haze" each other in college and in the pros. Someone is trying to make some money here and if this goes through, it will open the door for lawsuits at pretty much every college and every NFL team.

Hazing is against the rules already... sexual hazing is a huge no no.... there are going to be a zillion copycat lawsuits for sure and the NCAA will make penn state a sacrificial lamb... that program in particular should have gone apeshit when it was reported to them because of everything that happened there... this isn’t going to be good for anyone...

Like sure, fine, stupid young kids are going to be stupid... thats one separate thing, but after getting blasted with the sandusky stuff, if this got reported to Franklin and he didn’t pass it higher he is done there... you cannot just ignore that **** with the magnifying glass on your program already...

So what a second here, you think it's okay to teabag someone, or to simulate that you're butfucking them? Against their will? Are you insane, or do you like the meat flute?

A whole lotta gay going on there at PSU

I would kill a ************.

At PENN STATE, they are held to a higher standard due to the previous sex problem within their organization. Hazing to a small degree of acceptance is one thing but when it became sexual, sexually verbal, threatening Sandusky reprocutions (knowing what happened at your school involving him), there is a problem. YOUR Former loved all-time ever coach Paterno totally fallen and yet student/athletes are punking on this topic. A total lack of discipline within the coaching staff. If a hint of any of these allegations have merit, I see a total HAMMER being dropped. WTF

There is a difference between hazing and sexual assault. The later is a crime.

Hazing is a crime in all but 6 states. In Pennsylvania this is their law:

Hazing: Any action or situation which recklessly or intentionally endangers the mental or physical health or safety of a student or which willfully destroys or removes public or private property for the purpose of initiation or admission into or affiliation with or as a condition of continued membership in, any organization operating under the sanction of or recognized as an organization by an institution of higher education. For purposes of this definition, any activity as described in this definition upon which the initiation or admission into or affiliation with or continued membership in an organization is directly or indirectly conditioned shall be presumed to be ‘forced’ activity, the willingness of an individual to participate in such activity notwithstanding

Prohibition

Prohibits: Any brutality of a physical nature, such as whipping, beating, branding, forced calisthenics, exposure to the elements, forced consumption of any food, liquor, drug, or other substance, or any other forced physical activity which could adversely affect the physical health and safety of the individual, and shall include any activity which would subject the individual to extreme mental stress, such as sleep deprivation, forced exclusion from social contact, forced conduct which could result in extreme embarrassment, or any other forced activity which could adversely affect the mental health or dignity of the individual, or any willful destruction or removal of public or private property.

Misdemeanor

Any person who causes or participates in hazing commits a misdemeanor of the third degree.

Sounds like it was a little more than hazing, maybe some thug bullying thrown in for effect ?

Now it’s possible that this kid is making it all up... and that is what all of the PSU messageboards are banking hard on...
But there are rumblings that there are more guys out there with simular stories .... if any of this is true they are in deep ****...

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. If this is true, then there is definitely someone else that has experienced or witnessed this activity. The one thing that is strange is that in the article they do say that the police did an investigation and turned it over to the DA, but they didn't think they could prosecute, or something to that affect. So the question is, was there really nothing there, or did the DA, fearing the on coming media blitz, try to sweep it under the rug?

I mean it would all be circumstancial unless some nitwit taped it or something.... it won’t be easy to prove... a bunch of witnesses would probably be easier to win a civil case with, Right?

I would think so. But I'm no lawyer.

Brothers, I'm praying this isn't true. What is going on w/ our world? Our kids? This society???

I'm disgusted and appalled.

Someone better check on Tape - seriously...

So not dismissing the absurd hazing if it happened, but to me the serious issue here if all this is true, is that the coaching staff either dismissed this or maybe even observed it and did nothing... like for the rest of time EVERY misconduct allegation better be formally investigated every time...

Lack of respect not just for others but also for themselves. NO true role models within their structure. Dads and moms who just want to be best friends........ No actual HARD parenting. Not held to accountability, no consequences, ignoring right from wrong, no one to hold them honest. All these things are contributors in this young society. Don't get me wrong......... There are a lot of good people / young adults / kids all respectable etc............ But more and more as people look the other way this nastiness will continue harder and harder.

Are all you guards at Guantonimo Bay gay?
**** no. There is nothing gay about getting your dick sucked. You're the gay one for sucking the dick.
I don't know this seems pretty gay.
You boys ready for your cockmeat sandwich?
Uh no.
Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay.

We'll find out what happens but this was investigated criminally by the DA and no charges were filed. The kid who he accuses passed a lie detector. Several players are denying this pretty adamantly

Penn State has released the following statement:

"The University has established processes in place for responding to claims of potential misconduct. In accordance with our processes, the Office of Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Response and the Office of Student Conduct carried out investigations of the plaintiff’s claims independent from Intercollegiate Athletics. In addition, Penn State police investigated related allegations and forwarded the results of that investigation to the Office of the Centre County District Attorney (DA). The DA reviewed the case and decided that no charges would be pursued."

Hazing can be illegal, but there are also instances where it isn't. For hockey, we had some dum ones, like how long can you stand in your underwear with your arms out holding hockey sticks, without letting them touch the ground. Riding a construction yellow man sign down a set of stairs (albiet the wall to the stairs was 3 feet from the bottom step, and we had to wear helmets). Top riders had the biggest holes in the wall. Take shots to the *** (from a stick and puck you sickos). Also had strippers sit on faces.

I don't think any of that was illegal, but it was still called hazing, and it was fun as hell!
