One can only hope. He needs someone to shut that obnoxious mouth of his up already is really what I think (part of) his problem is.

After reading the ESPN article that details his struggles I am sure that he is bipolar. He has all the classic symptoms of it and seemingly has since high school. It is why he ended up at a smaller program. I don't hate him anymore for that I just pity him. He truly needs real help and meds or he will end up killing himself or hurting someone. We do a terrible job of taking care of mental illness and he has been coddled for so long that it has made it worse by feeding his ego and thinking he doesn't need help. SOmeone in his life if there is anyone needs to have some type of intercession and make him seek help or he will not last much longer.

I've known a lot of people with bipolar disorder throughout my life, and they were never raging ******** and have done some of the unconscionable **** AB has done. Farting in that Doctor's face while the guy is trying to give him a physical is as low class as it gets. And that's just what we've seen. The other stuff with the balcony tantrum and his treatment of women is the unconscionable **** I'm talking about. That's having no regard for other human beings. I'm a softy at heart and don't make light of mental illness, but some of this **** is just being a scumbag.

I hope he gets help for an underlying mental illness he is likely suffering, but that's mainly because of the people around him that he's hurting. He's a grown *** man (as he likes to say) so act like it and take some ******* responsibility for your despicable actions already too.
 
Read a great article on this recent outburst. Can’t find it but think it was yahoo (yeah I know what). Basically he was saying AB is asking for help. Not directly “obviously” lol but help from his circle bc dude is off the rails. There is something seriously wrong with him. Call it the birthdefect hit, call it bipolar....whatever name, he is in need of treatment.

End of day he was an amazing Steeler when he wasn’t mouthing off at the end of his tenure, wish him the help he needs.
 
Meh he always was an attention junkie and without football to feed that he has utterly imploded trying to keep himself in the spotlight... having said that, I tend to think if tge National media just ignored him the situation will self correct itself much better than where it is headed now... that dude is going to end up dead in a bad way soon if not...
 
Steelworth, I've advocated for someone close to him to get a full physical & mental evaluation and if not cooperatively then through the courts. Things such as this incident (amongst many others) are reason enough for the courts if the initiative is taken up.I think those close to him (not his party clones who will be gone once the money is gone) just want to be left alone from him. He has probably used up all his "closeness friends" . He's not playing so not making any money so that leaves his agent out, he's probably burned those bridges as well.

I don't feel sorry at all for him as he has so much more access than the average mental person and yet wants NO HELP. He know2s what he is doing by consciously making all these decisions he's been making. He knows right from wrong, entitlement or not. He is using up all his "free pass" cards and sooner than later, that FEMALE cop is going to put him on the ground and cuff him. That will set him off of all set offs and yet he won't be able to do anything about it, EXCEPT possibly hit rock bottom. Art that point he may be able to be helped.

His actions are sure painting him in that light. I do pity him in a way, but I also think he's a scumbag ******* with zero regard for other people.
 
Jim Brown needs to pay him a visit. He can either talk sense into him to get help or beat him into submission and get him help.

You mean the mother of his children? Does he know how to show respect to get respect? How he talked to the POs, he needs a boot upside the head. They showed great restrain and to talk like that in front of his kids, he is scum.

He's definitely done with the league. No GM or coach wants that ******* in his locker room. The drama no longer can be set aside for his talent on the field. That Super Bowl Winning Head Coach Michael Vincent Lombardi Tomlin was able to keep him from showing this kind of crazy for so many years is a testament to the coach.
 
He will get another shot. It was only a couple weeks ago the saint were dumb enough to bring him in there will be a lesser org just as dumb. Then when ab blows up that org will deserve anything that comes their way

I agree, Tomlin would have zero to do with keeping him check away from the football field. He was getting a **** ton of attention when he was actually playing, now that he hasn't been playing he needs attention.

Also Tomlin did allow him to have his camera crew follow him around and allowed AB to stay off campus at training camp, so I guess he kept him under wraps by allowing him to do what he wanted.
