Hey, it's here. J-E-S-T-S week. I'm sure we all looked ahead to playing these jockers but on way different terms. At the time Bell went there, we didn't have the "D" we have now. CM'on tell me you weren't worried about BELL with our OLD defense. Our new and improved defense has me very little worried about bBELL. I watched a littlew of the jets last sunday and just keyed in on the BELL and he is totally a different player as well. He has regressed a lot to the extent of taking plays off, runing up-wright, no power in his legs, all combining to him NOT even being close to the years we ran his wheels off, good for us.

There are a lot of other analysis to occure and we should be able to win this one out right.

WHAT say the nation.?

I'm not worried about Bell. He is just an average back. Oh...**** Bell.
 
It is hard to have a year off then come back and try to pick up where you left off. Plus he gained some weight and had to shed it on top of that. We have talked about his Oline and inconsistent QB play as well. I think a better version of Bell will surface next season just hopefully not Sunday at 1.

Well we did have some lapses where our run D looked like Swiss cheese. But yeah nowhere as consistently bad as the pass D. Thankfully we have Mink/Haden/Nelson to tighten down the hatch.

ALSO don't forget WATT is playing astronomical. I think our O can put up 24 points and our D can hold them to 16 (not my official prediction yet).

I'm not too worried about our defense. It is our offense that scares me.
 
The defense still gets gashed by cutbacks. So while they're pretty good they still have room to improve in that department.
 
I think the staff will attempt to tone it down for Duck, giving him a better chance of success.
I say we win this one, but it will be close.

Looks like Tomlin will have Duck on a short leash this week.....we may see the return of Rudolph afterall, right before xmas.

I'd give Mason a shot next year to be the backup. I'd ride with Hodges until this seasons conclusion.

Like I started last week. This teams only hope is a powerful damn near unstoppable running game. Run the damn ball! Commit to it 100%.The Jets will have everyone and their mama at the line Sunday. If JuJu comes back it should help open up some things for Dj&Washington. Make them pay

Up the gut with 8 guys in the box will not work. Fitchner NEEDS to have a better running game plan, fully agree but how about some variations of it...............?

Pretty much a must win situation. I would start with Duck if he wasn't self destructing on the field I would stay with him. But if he shows residual effects of the bills meltdown I would yank him if need-be.

They have a chance to make the playoffs this isn't a throw away season.............

Gase, whose 5-9 team has yet to beat anyone currently with a winning record, will have contingencies in place in case the “home crowd” gets too loud when Sam Darnold & Co. are on the field. Imagine practicing silent counts for an upcoming game in your own building.

Yet here we are.

I'd argue we've gotten worse against the run in the past few years as our DEs have played 2 DL or been more a pass rush base. When we actually get a true NT and play more 3-4 our run D will improve.
 
Looks like Vance will be back, JuJu still unknown, limited in practice
