I'm glad our players spoke what they did. We as fans forget the business and ONLY think loyalty as we have for our beloved STEELERS. These players need to take care of themselves as no one else will. He didn't do it the way I or many here would have but none the less he also payed the penalty of his decisions as well. As a fan it's hard to move on but that's exactly what I and many here have done. leMEon who ???

My only issue with LB was his lack of communication with his teammates. I thought that was pretty ******, but at the same time I can see where an agent or he believed communication would tip their hand.

Bottom line is, Bell used the system as it was built to try to get what he believed he was worth. Turns out he was wrong on his market value and he is missing out on a **** ton of coin because of it. But, at least he used the CBA as built unlike that other clown.

so, he IS coming back, good, we need a slot receiver

Way too obvious place to put him. Our coaches are too smarticles for that and will not be fooled. Guarantee they line him up at TE and tell him to block.

LevBell to put it simple, is just plain dumb. Does not make sound, sensible decisions and most likely will be broke when his playing days are over.
He turned down several lucrative contracts from the Steelers, where he knew the offense, the players, the culture to sign with a franchise for actually less long term money that has a history of instability to put it kindly.
Who is the stupid one here?

I don't think anyone is questioning he made poor decisions while trying to get the money he wanted.

He is also paying for those decisions that HE made. The consequences of his decisions he is handling, I don't see him blaming others or not being accountable. We had a azZhat WR that terribly ****** things up.

As for BELL being broke right ottA football, I think he is a little wiser than that, not much but a little.

Bell had an overinflated projection of his value and had never been anywhere else, so now he's finding out that the grass isn't always greener. I'm sure the guys don't have that hard of feelings when he's on a 5-9 team and is averaging just over 3 YPC.

I'm not quite sure if you are trying to make a counterpoint here or what. I clearly stated he made bad decisions and that he should have communicated with his peers. I don't really care what hue he finds the grass in NY. Last, I made no comments about current roster.

He does have his lucrative Hip Hop career to fall back on.

The same issue I have with Bell. He essentially guaranteed he would report. Guaranteed the “best year yet” to millions of followers.

Our guys need to focus on their job and getting a win. As trying as the season has been they still have something to play for.
Let Bell worry about padding stats in another loss
He did things his way........ so he reeps the consequences of his actions..
Look at all the teams that have put out huge cash for RBs Todd Gurley, David Johnson, Lev Bell, and Zeke Elliot. All have had average or below average years except Zeke but Jerry Jones & company could still miss the playoffs this year and blow that team up next year.
Bell is no longer a Steeler so I hope all I see this weekend is him picking himself up off the turf from behind the line of scrimmage. Watt, Dupree, Bush and Hilton getting TFL .... all day long boys.
Seeing Adam Gase speak at the podium answering questions as to why the JETS couldn't move the ball would be sweet as well.

Oh, no counterpoint. I probably shouldn't have quoted anything but I have a stupid habit of doing that sometimes.

Ahhh Bell time we have to honor this with a rap

wanna hear it

hear it go.:

Hip hop to New Jersey
the Steelers go
that's where whom the Bell tolled resides
as if yinz didn't know
Green as in not more money
and Greener as in not pasture
as his stats pale in comparison
to his last year

I would say **** you
but at this point meh
no real reason
it is punishment enough
being on the

Just
End
The
Season

I have no hard feelings either. I always thought his style was gimmicky (caught a lot of **** for that) and would get solved, so wasn't too broken up about him leaving. Never seemed like a douche ala AB.

He was never any good, everyone here hated him and nobody wanted to pay him what we offered. I'm sure there is a historical record.

My take is the other players regard it as a business decision and didn't take it personally.

Business **** aside, Le’Veon took shots at Ben and Tomlin just to pile on when AB was going off so **** him.

Also this quote from DeCastro makes me think he’s clueless. Sometimes it’s best for him to just keep his mouth closed.. put guys through what? Being offered a better deal by the team he was originally on?

This league is so soft anymore, everyone is so scared to not like someone on another team or have any kind of dislike towards anyone. Everyone loves each other. I’m sure when we play the Browns next year with Garrett, Steelers players will all give him a big bear hug before the game and say they have no hard feelings. It’s just too much of that anymore.

He's long gone. Just stop him. That's all that matters. Feelings good or bad won't win the game.

Bell took to twitter to blast his team. He didn't show up when he said he would. He offended his offensive line. I'll applaud any legal hit that knocks him out of the game.

So you are wishing injuries on players now? If that doesn't signify a loser nothing does.

The Jets are stuck between a rock and a hard spot with Me’Von Bell

The Jets would like to part ways with Bell, who for the season is averaging 3.3 yards per carry. This rates 45th of our 46th Running backs with enough carries to qualify. They have two problems.

1 ) Bell is virtually untradeable. No team wants to pick up his salary given is terrible production, past baggage and the very replaceable position he plays.

2 ) If the Jets were to cut Bell, it’s a 19 million dollar hit on the cap. OUCH

Coach’s prediction: Bell will be playing football and bowling in another NFL city next season. His cap number won’t be close to 13.5 million a year. That goodness, this loser didn’t take the deal the Steelers offered…for our sake.
