Landry is a very good player...OBJ...a severely over-hyped, better than average player.

Landry still runs great routes and has good hands. He is easily their No. 1 WR right now. Not sure what is up with OBJ but he really wasn't that good last year and his similar to Julio Jones in that he doesn't put up big numbers all the time. He''ll have a blow up game and then nothing for a couple games and he does that during the game too. He doesn't go full speed or full effort all the time. For as much as I am glad AB is gone now, that was one thing you could always count on with him. He gave 100% effort all the time. Another thing I've noticed with OBJ is they run him on a lot of short routes. I am guessing they are expecting him to catch the ball and then break something open. I am not sure he is that type of WR. I always thought he made his living running deep and intermediate routes.

As far as Mayfield goes, I still think he's the best QB they've had in a long time and still has good upside. They just have piss poor leadership and coaching in Cleveland like they have since coming back into the league 20 years ago. If I were him and especially if they don't figure **** out by next year, I'd be looking to leave after his rookie contract or his career will be another one destroyed by the Cleveland Clowns.

I think Mr. Nelson should be careful of what he says

I think it's funny, to be honest. That just puts salt into their wound after the L. By the time we see them again, a lot of time will pass. If it's their bulletin board material, so be it. W'll be better by then, too.

Chad Ocho-sinco Johnson as best I caN SEE in OBJ comparison.

HUNTER, great write up article and insight as to Steven Nelson. I am so glad he is doing what he does. A good friend (chiefs fan) told me it was a BIG mistake when PITTSBURGH aquired him and I/m glad I can counter with Nelson's outstanding play.

Why should he be scared????? He (nelson) seems to be able to back up what he is saying. Sometimes speaking the truth isn't a smack down on who the truth is about, its just the truth.

I think the only reason OBJ isn’t going apeshit about his numbers is that it’s his best friend Landry who is getting the targets. He’s not going to criticize them for throwing to Landry too much. If the browns had somebody like Tyler Boyd sucking up all the targets, he’d be complaining all day.

The browns way overpaid for Landry. He’s just a possession guy. Yes he’s one of the better possession guys but you can get a guy for much cheaper to do what he does. The Dolphins smartly realized that.

Both Landry and OBJ are MILES ahead of any receiving talent we have on this team. They both have excellent hands, run excellent routes, and know how to get open downfield.

I'd take any of them over any of our receivers, except for JuJu, because he at least has upside.

Cope I agree but am a little reserved on Washington as he is flashing currently. He could very well grow to be better, or worse, than the two Browns receivers. James would be a wait and see.

I hear you DIC, but as a Z, OBJ is much better at separating, he's faster and has better hands.

I'd take JuJu over either of them. Landry is just a possession guy. OBJ has a ton of talent but he sure does get shut down a lot doesn't he?

Washington and Johnson are playing better now. I think we'll see more from JuJu when he gets back. I'd love to have a big play guy liek OBJ but he's damn expensive and you can't pay everybody.

I think OBJ get's a fair amount of double teams. He gets the AB treatment. And has been somewhat handicapped by QB play. You give him to Ben and he lights his stats up. But he needs the right QB and team for that matter to get the most out of his talent.

Nelson told me last week that he had a bum DC in KC that's why he wasn't as good.

And that's exactly whats happening..

I'm over these ********. I'll take one OBJ for one Steven Nelson in a nanosecond.

Shut the **** up until you prove something over the course of a season. Just shut the **** up. This is a classic Tomlin talent, thinks he's something, talks big, and will get abused by a well coached offense.

There are about $17M reasons why I wouldn't be taking OBJ right now.

Because it’s classless when we do it just as much as when Jalen Ramsey did it. It’s just as classless as Freddy Kitchens wearing that stupid shirt. I remember Anthony Smith (remember him) getting an interception and then show boating at the completion of the play. Duck LeBeaux grabbed him as he came to the sideline and gave him an earful, something to the effect of “you’re in Pittsburgh, we don’t do that here.” We’re not like everyone else, or at least we shouldn’t be.

i think you need to tale salaries into account when comparing players when team is concerned
