Open Discussion on Kaperdick workout.

I think as an American, he has the right to do that, even if it's 'on the job' as you describe it.

So Tibs, if I understand correctly, you're a businessman with employees in your company, are you telling me if one or more of those employees did something on company time that cost you business (money), you'd be OK with that?

So you want to live in a society where it's gonna be determined what type of socks people can or cannot wear? I guess America isn't the home of the free and the brave as it's been for 240+ years. Were you up in arms because Kurt Suzuki wore a MAGA hat when the Nationals visited the WH? That doesn't mesh with my political views, a whole lot of people found that offensive. So I guess he should be thrown out of baseball? SOB, disrespectful, spoiled, multi-millionare who likes to preach to others. See how that works? I'm not willing to go down that road. Evidently, you are.

You still don't get it. If you can't tell the difference between a spoiled QB that tries to make everything about him so much so that he wears socks calling cops pigs and a guy wearing a hat that would make the president happy, you're a lost cause.

BTW the NFL tells players exactly what they can wear and can't wear. You don't like it? Don't play for the NFL. It's that way in lots of businesses. You ok with a guy wearing a Trump helmet instead of his teams helmet? I'm not willing to go down that road. Evidently you are...

He doesn't really care. If Kaep were kneeling because of the Obama administration giving gun runners in Mexico guns so they could kill border patrol agents, Tibs would hate him and side with the NFL.

How much of his own (Krappernick) money did he contribute to his cause?

How much lost revenue did the NFL contribute to his (Krapernick) cause.......?

Yet Colin never ever thanked them........why is that?

Salute the nation

Stephen A nails it.

As a guy who doesn’t give two ***** about whether kap plays or not, and who thinks the kneeling stuff is overblown by both sides... this take is the same as mine... he knows he will earn more as an icon than as a second rate backup... he is doing just enough to thwart offers... no difference between this and the last time teams were prepping offers and he and his camp mystifyingly submarined them by doubling down on stances and twitter rants...

He...Doesn’t...Want....To....Play.....

Dude doesn't want to play in the NFL. He is as bad a cancer as AB with half the talent. If I'm the league, I slap him with a 6 game suspension for his recent antics in regards to the work out for if he signs with a team. The suspension fits the conduct detrimental to the league.

Kaperdork was a cancer before. He was a terrible leader and even his teammates didn't like him when he was in the league. He had something (but not anywhere near a franchise QB) when he first became a starter but then he lost "it". He was a scrub. At best he would be a backup or 3rd string QB.

He ran his mouth yesterday about the NFL and teams hiding and that he can play. Yet, he is the one that was hiding. Even though he sucked, he had offers on the table to be a backup but he turned them down. Why should he now be given another shot at the NFL 3 years later? This would be the one thing that if the Steelers signed him would cause me to stop watching until he was gone and maybe longer than that. Our society has no place for the divisiveness Kaperdork and other racist race baiters and police haters are trying to ram down our throats. Their narrative is as false as it gets.

I read a story awhile back that Kaepernick wasn't even registered to vote. He's a fraud.

Those who do not vote are not to be given credibility when condemning or criticizing. They’re not participating in a process many have fought and died for. At a minimum maybe tools like Kaepernick could say thank you?

Any team that signs him will have to start him day 1. Unless he's playing behind Tom Brady, he'll cry racism everytime he's not starting. The media will talk incessantly about how great he is and he's not starting because of his protests. No team wants that.

He refuses to sign the NFL waiver, then demands the NFL participate on some High School field? The NFL was offering up 3 WRs. I didn't watch the circus or hear anything about it, but what if one of the WRs had been hurt on some random HS field?

I predict he gets into politics and runs for office somewhere.

He's your typical liberal as already proven. He wants the issue to run on, but doesn't want a solution. Take immigration for example, Democrats didn't touch that one when they had the Presidency, a large majority in the House, and a super majority in the Senate. They want the issue because they think it polls well for them on a purely emotional argument.

Steelers didn't attend the workout. Nothing else to see here then. I'll worry about the players that are on the team. Honestly, he can do whatever he wants, play for whomever feels the need of his services. He'll never be in B&G and that's what matters right now. They have Paxton freakin Lynch on the roster. All I need to know.

Speaking of Lynch..

If things go eevn further south with Mason...we might see him before end of year.

if they are out of the PO run, then what it could hurt? Let's see what he has.don't have. Saying that, I think Tomlin will live and die with Mason. He's the future, 3rd round pick whle the others are undrafted or FA scrapheap signings.

I hear ya Hoot, but don't get the uproar over a silent, peaceful act, such as taking a knee during the National Anthem. I think the backlash has been way over the top. He wasn't shouting, screaming into a megaphone, etc. Just quietly taking a knee in solemn protest. I think as an American, he has the right to do that, even if it's 'on the job' as you describe it.

What about wearing a Castro shirt or wearing socks with Police depicted as pigs ?

If he was serious about getting back into the league he would shut his mouth and went to the workout that the league set up for him where 20+ were going to attend. Instead he changed venues at the last minute and gives a political speech. Now he will cry wolf when no one signs him. Him and AB should go start their own league.
