Well this was Cleveland's Super Bowl and for the first time since Oct 2014 the Clowns finally came away with the win. Mason Rudolph's 2nd start on the road of his career and he took a giant **** in Turd Town, his worst game as a pro. This game started ugly and was ugly throughout....everything from the play-calling to the performance of the Steelers offense was nothing short of abysmal topped off By Rudolph's 5 Turnovers. Five Steeler players were knocked out of this game.....Ola Adeniyi, James Conner, Juju Smith-Schuster, Artie Burns, & Dionte Johnson. I guess it played out about what I expected after the first quarter when Conner went down and Juju went down early in the 2nd QTR. As if that wasn't enough salt in the wound for Steelers fans Demarius Randall knocked out his second Steelers player in the game in the 3rd Quarter when Dionte Johnson went out from another helmet to helmet hit from Randall.....Juju was also knocked out by Randall early in the 2nd QTR on a Helmet to Helmet hit. As if that wasn't enough the game ended on a very ugly note when Myles Garret got into it with Rudolph and Garrett ripped Rudolph's helmet and then hit him in the head with the helmet.......he got ejected and did Ogunjobi and Pouncey was also ejected for coming to the defense of Rudolph as he threw kicks and punches at Garrett.....completely crazy! I can barely remember much that happened from a game standpoint other than the fact that our 3 top guys on offense were knocked out of the game....pretty much negating any chance we had to mount a comeback. A few other thoughts....I still don't understand why Johnny Holton is on this roster.....he can't catch a football. It was nice to finally see Tevin Jones get a helmet and get some playing time....he should be our #4 WR going forward. I hope the long layoff allows our guys who were injured a chance to come back for the Bungles next Sunday. I can't wait for the rematch 17 days from now on Sunday Dec 1st! I hope we KICK YOUR *****!!!

Ola Adeniyi - Concussion
James Conner - Shoulder (re-injured same shoulder he hurt earlier this season)
Juju Smith-Schuster - Concussion
Dionte Johnson - Concussion
Artie Burns - Knee

Game Balls:
Jordan Berry - 5 punts 49.6 yd average....good night punting
Javon Hargrave - 7 solo tackles....had a pretty good game in the middle of the field along with Cam Heyward to help keep the Clowns running game in check

Game Goats:
Johnny Holton - This guy is a waste of a roster spot. I can't believe he collects a paycheck for what he does on the football field on Gameday. He can't catch a football to save his life! Hopefully Tevin Jones arrival on Gameday pushes Holton down the depth chart!
Mason Rudolph - Not all his fault Cleveland has a good Defense but he's gotta be more decisive on his throws....he holds the ball too long in the pocket
Allejandro Villaneuva - I know he was going against Myle Garrett but Big Al was god awful tonight
Mark Barron - Holy ****....he was bad all night tonight...that TD pass that made it 21-7 late in the 4th QTR he should have intercepted that football....that was brutal....he flat out STUNK! He's getting more playtime than Vince Williams and I just don't understand why! He's not a better football player in any facet of his game!


FU's:
Myles Garrett - FU Myles YOUR a ******* PIECE OF ****! You showed no class in the closing seconds of the game and were ejected for attacking Mason Rudolph and when you hit him with his own helmet after ripping it off his head you showed me you have no class! YOUR A PIECE OF ****! You should be suspended multiple games for your actions tonight!
Demarius Randall - 2 Helmet to Helmet hits on our #1 & #2 WR's knocking them both out of the game....FU Randall
 
I'd give game balls to the Dline. No real "splash plays but they held it together all night and prevented a much worse outcome IMO. Cam Heyward is a MAN!

Goats:
Mason Rudolph. I've been a supporter and hoped to see progress but tonight he sucked donkey dick. He was awful. At halftime I wanted Duck in there so BAD!
Oline. These guys are overpaid and overrated. They have underperformed all year. I don't care if we did lose the Oline guru- these guys are vets. They should know what to do by now. We have had absolutely NO running game the whole year and our pass protection sucks as well.
Horton and the rest of the WRs - CATCH THE ******* BALL!
R. Fichtner - I don't care if his nose if a yard up Ben's ***. How many 3rd/4th and short did we screw up? You mean we can't even run a slant for two yards when we only need one? This guy needs to go.

FU's - the Clowns POS Cheap shot artists led by Myles Garret. And we thought Burfuct and the Bungs were thugs. These guys are in a whole new class of dirty.
 
Back to earth and then 6 feet under , juju , Conner, DJ all of them out is just too much when also your HOF QB is lost for the season and your 2nd QB ***** the bed like I have never seen.

Also the OC deserves a goat for calling a ****** game plan, I guess he just can't call two good games in a row

The entire o-line were goats (and an FU to them for not kicking the **** out of Garrett and Ogunjobi) and I would put Baron in the FU column. I honestly haven't seen anything he does well.
 
Mason was awful no denying it. But he also had no one left to throw to no time to throw and a putrid play calling. The line, Mason and Fichtner all gets F's. I don't bench Mason for this but I do keep a shorter leash. Question is who is left to play. Defense aside from two plays did enough for any semblance of offense to win this game. I don't even put his one on Tomlin other than for not choking Randy out at half time and leaving him stuffed in a locker.

-Mark Barron.. should be cut tomorrow. Adds nothing to the team

Jesus Christ if Holton hangs onto even two or three of the six or more passes that went deeeep his way, this is probably a different game. Worst part is that he probably should have held onto all but maybe one as he had his hands on damn near all of them, while they were virtually uncontested. Uncontested in the sense that the defender didn’t have much of a beat on it, and he didn’t have to make a dazzling catch. ******* guy needs to focus on making a catch instead of crying for the flag every time. Honestly, this guy is no better than Moncrief, but at least Moncrief had a shredded finger.

The only real game ball has to be the defense. Sans the two big plays (which definitely were daggers, and OBJ got a push off on the first one), they had Cleveland bottled up. They stood up on each turnover except one, and multiple times did Cleveland have terrific field position. We need to put mayfield on the ground early l, and often, and he won’t hit a damn thing.

I noticed the defenders were all over the short passes. They knew where the ball was going. Defenses have figured Rudolph out.

The OC didn’t do him many favors. Should have played more 2 tight end sets to slow down the pass rush

RB's but maybe that's being harsh since we're down to our 5th and 6th RB's.

Garrett, Randall. Browns get three players ejected and probably lose Garrett for the season and Randall for maybe a week or two in a game they won by a healthy margin.

Tomlin isn't going anywhere, bubbles can attest to that. Firing bubbles won't fix anything but it the jist of what is wrong along the whole coaching side of this club. We lost a lot of guys but when those guys were in there at the start, they still looked under prepared and dog **** play calling enhanced that. Mason may not be the answer but the coaching staff a s well isn't the answer and haven't been for quite some time now. Tomlin was never in the COTY conversation as he has just been average, 5-5 is average. Injury, yes can affect but still I don't see us dominating like in Coaching is raising the bar to compensate for the injuries. I just see the same ineptitude but now able to blame the injuries as in....... What's he suppose to do, he's lost everyone to injury......

The loss last night was due to key players on offense that got knocked out of the game. Like Lebanon said, Coach Tomlin should have been knee deep in Coach Fitchner's rectum at half time and then locked him in the locker room; but Rudy played like "Ruby" and the injuries on offense did not help.

I think you have to shut Conner down for at least 3 weeks to see if he can heal up. I'm praying Juju and DJ are ok and heal quickly.

My feelings about Myles Garrett and the other headhunter have already been expressed in this thread...
 
Last night fixed me up for the rest of the year. I don't care how good the defense plays from here on out. This team isn't going anywhere meaningful with whats left of the offense. No more optimism from me.

No sense kidding ourselves. They were bad before all these injuries. The oline, what used to be a strength with this team is in decline. There is literally nobody left to run or catch the ball besides the tight ends, and they have not done anything either....Then, when all else fails, the play calling will screw them....

To think last week I actually thought they could win 5 or 6 games and get in the playoffs....

Now I wander if they will beat the winless Bengals.
 
You cant expect the defense to get fluke turnovers to win every game

Im taking away Tomlins Coach of the Year award for that shitshow
 
Game Goat: Mike Tomlin for continuing to run Rudolph out there. Should have put in Duck for a few series. Rudolph was a **** show last night.
 
too many injuries and lack of weapons. Mason is tentative. Mason has little time, Mason is not good, at all.

Goat Tomlin first hugging the Brown player as Ju JU is laid out on field half a goat for not standing up to this officiating crew and the type play they allowed ( Mason was fit with arms in head five times first half called once)
Game ball Mason for being beat up all night and stood up at the end towards the Brown's had zero plus time to throw as the line never showed up

I beg to differ on Mason's performance. He wasn't great, or even good, but it was not all his fault. With decent receivers, he'd have been a good solid average. He was throwing to non NFL caliber wideouts towards the end of the game with the exception of Washington. A couple of the picks I thought were on the receivers. Ben would have had similar results. They need to ditch some of those scrubs and try a new set of scrubs and hope one of them sticks. I'd take Eli Rogers back for sure and maybe HeyBey. Rogers would be like Jerry Rice compared to a couple of those guys.

Don't put it on Tomlin?? He is responsible for having the team and coaching staff come out unprepared, and outplayed AGAIN...another Tomlin special, only difference it wasn't at home....if he goes .500 against all these bad teams it will be a miracle

Did anyone else see MT address the defense on the sideline with Butler looking on then CMT reading from what looked like a play card/list and talking in the headset prior to defensive snaps?? He’s running this defense.
