Steelers quarterback Mason Ruldoph was tackled to the ground late by Browns Defensive End Miles Garrett. A scrum ensued that ended with Garrett ripping the helmet off of Ruldoph and swinging it at Ruldoph connecting on a hit to his head. Maurice Pouncey and David Decastro came to the defense of their QB. You can […]

Tomlin had nothing to say. Rooney said he should get at least a couple of games. Glad at least the players in the locker room are going off on the guy. The league needs to come down very hard and six games simply isn't enough. If that helmet is turned the other direction, Mason would be in a bad way right now.

ESPN mentioned Haynesworth got 5 games for stomping on a guy. It has to be the rest of the season. Easiest decision ever for Goodell. The only decision should be whether Goodell wants to play the tough guy and extend it to next season.

The Browns are national darlings this season... Rodger will give him a slap on the wrist unless the national outcry is universally and relentlessly negative

I walked away and missed it... thats criminal... I don’t care if mason ball tapped him or called his mom a *****... you cannot do that

All I know is if that was Tom Brady, Garrett would be in jail!

It’s probably been said, and I am sure a lot of people think it. But really,is that not assault with deadly weapon,or intent to injure. Whatever the charge could be......where’s the SN legal department.

Ogunjobi was the real pos. He sees the quarterback from the other team get hit over the head with his own helmet and then runs up and hits him from behind.

which is likely why he was also thrown out...he should be out at least a couple of weeks

I've seen a lot of bad **** on football fields but that was the worst. If the NFL doesn't suspend him for the rest of the year they have blood on their hands.

Even the guy that pushed Mason to the ground after getting his helmet smashed over the head should get a game or two.

Garrett shouldn't get paid either with a year suspension that it should be.

Browns fans probably think Mason should be suspended for starting it and Garrett should only get a game.

Honestly, after this ..I really do think about just doing other things on my Sundays. I just don't enjoy watching the product that is the NFL anymore.

SVP was brutal to GArrett tonight on ESPN the outrage seems universal. Dude is gone for a long time. Hell after watching Kitchens keep saying he doesn't condone fighting because it it a penalty instead of saying it is wrong he should be shown the door. Particularly after the two helmet to helmet hits and ejection. ******* DJ's ear was bleeding from that hit.

Pouncy could get 5 because he was kicking 95.

I had a buddy text me that he's never seen anything like that. He's a Vikes fan but he immediately said the guy should be suspended for life over that egregious ****.

David Carr, McGinnist, and the NFL Net guys are a bunch of dumb *****.
