First off, if they start out as slow with these guys as with the fish........ Game over. Colts win against the Broncos was assisted by a phantom face mask call to get them in FG range. Adam Venetari is no Vanderjack (Payton manning... Kicker, he's just a kicker) made a 55yarder so he has still has a little leg left. Some of their games came down to last possession so our ST need to step up !

I think Mason's mixture will be good against their D but we need a run game too. On D, our front seven needs to be that front seven everyone talks about. They need to get after the QB and yes we need some man to man as well.


I Remeber manning throwing his players under the bus after losing to us in a couple big games, especialy the Vanderjack missed FG episode................any others YOU Remeber..........

The Steelers have nothing to lose by changing up some of the same plays over and over. Lets see this team go out to win instead of same run up the middle two out of three downs

This. Let Mason open with mid range routes - don't hold the kid back. I was frustrated with the opening Monday, but have always been a supporter of the kid. Let him play.

It would be nice to have JC hammering the ball, but I think JSam will add a nice dynamic to the game even without the direct snap single wing stuff. Not to say we can't run a little wildcat now and again, just don't make it a staple or open with it. They will be ready.

Defense gotta continue to ball and hopefully they will give the O a couple of short porches. That would be huge.

I feel good about the team this week if they can just pick up where they left off and just keep the foot on the gas.

The Colts defense is much better than Miami or Cincy's and they just go their best defensive player back this past week. This will be a test for both our offense and defense, this would be a very good win if they pull it off.

if we lose, its pretty clear its because DIC shaved and washed his lucky underwear then sat in the unlucky spot on the couch during the game so he should be punished. Although this does seem a bit extreme.

At home, team playing pretty solid, this game is definitely winnable. That said, the Colts are 5-2 and have talent on both sides of the LOS. Can't give up stupid TOs in our own end like we have done a few times this season and need to limit the big plays (TY Hilton). With Minka back there and Nelson playing well I feel much better about our secondaries ability to control the passing game than in recent years. Even though Haden has been burned recently, it is mostly by underneath stuff so not as critical. Gonna be a dog fight. We'll need another big game from our playmakers; TJ, Bush and Fitz.

Both teams have strong O-lines. Colts are stronger running it than passing so you want to keep Vince and Hargrave plugging holes in this one. Steelers should run the ball and win the TOP. So a short passing game in this one is fine. Utilize Jaysam in this capacity.

I had this marked as a loss hopefully i am wrong. The Colts can be explosive with Hilton and have a good RB. We certainly can't fall behind 14-0

Every single game the Colts have played this season has been decided by one score. They’ve beaten the Chiefs and Texans but have lost to the Chargers and Raiders and struggled against the mighty Falcons. If there’s one team this year that has been very average, it’s the Colts, in my opinion. They’re also likely playing without their best corner and their second man is hobbled with a knee injury. The qb has performed very equal to Rudy, who’s played damn near three less games. Honestly, kinda expect the Steelers to win this one, and not strictly from a fan-boy perspective.

AGREE Coryea, but it is very doable on the STEELERS part. I think our STs need to have a step up this week because the colts have had several LAST possesions determine their games.

AGREE on using J-Sam but NOT so much wildcat type stuff. If someone is going to pass it, I WANT our starting QB doing the passing. Use J-Sam out of the backfield, line him up with Rosie and do a Quick to Rosie (keep honest) J-Sam and Conner both out there and short pas as both become receivers (one by motion), you get my drift.

It's really up to the team if they're going to come out swinging or whiffing. Therein lie our chances imo.

The TONE of the game is decided way before the game begins. It starts at practice and what the coaches actions / demeanor / etc. feels like to the players. It amplifies as the week progresses.

Last week it was a laid back we got this type TONE. After all it is the dolphins we are playing.

This week I think our coaching staff is smart enough to know the COLTS are above the grade and will have a more "STEELED" Tone to their behaiver, thus rubbing onto the players.

They managed as MEN to shuck the lackadazical last week but lets hope they are armored and ready this week.

Unlike them the Steelers and Colts have been winning as of late, the bungles find a way to lose every game. I get the idea but clubs heading in the opposite direction.
