it's rough losing 2 great offensive talents in Brown/Bell

it's positive that we're not locked into those salaries and cap-hell for years to come

the guys who couldn't manage those talents the past few years are also the same guys who drafted them and assembled that team

people recently here who are so enamored with the Browns and their offseason moves.... how did they have that much money in salary cap to work with?

biggest thing is they have aqb playing well on his rookie deal

Those high-profile players that went to the Browns will only be there a year, right? Get their money and run.
 
same sort of thing happened to the Seahawks. After QB got paid, their star defense started leaving for money elsewhere.

Out of a possible 80 games, Bell has started 62 games, and bowed out of the AFCCG after a couple plays. That's probably more of a positional thing though. Tomlin does like to run his RB's until the wheels fall off, he doesn't seem to like to give other guys some carries.
 
I heard he used Common Core Math when negotiating his contract in NY!! Lol!!!! Lost $14 mill by sitting out and a million a year to go to Jets! BRILLIANT!!! OMG!! Lol...

Well to be fair at least he didn't start a new thread on the unpopular subject. Never seen Bell so quiet, he is getting a taste of life outside the Steelers O-line.

One thing he isn't doing and that's talking chyt on the steelers. AB used that forum continuously and even now finds negative to say about the franchise / player(s). Bell made a bonehead mistake and seems to be moving on from it but he did things that brought down many's and mine, opinion of him.

The jets are a very bad team this year. The qb is in way over his head. I suppose they're just ditching the season by throwing him in the deep end.
 
Le'Veon Bell now 109 for 349 yards (3.2 YPC) with 1 TD for the season. I guess even a generational talent like him can't turn water into wine.
 
I know one thing, his fanatical Steelers fan mom and grandfather are chewing his *** out every single Sunday.

He gave up a season of pay and ulitmatly a lot less money for the right to this. Hopefully, for his sake, some of those big NY Rap Producers take a liking to his music.
 
They aren't throwing to Bell. That's his real value. Struggling OL, mediocre WRs, no TE, and a young QB. Seems like having a RB with Bell's receiving talent would be just what they need. Nope. They use Bell like he's LeGarrette Blount.
 
Obviously he is struggling which was expected, but we are not lighting it up (to say the least) either. Im sure deep down he is regretting his choices, but he has seemed to move on unlike AB. Im still glad we did not sign him for what we were offering just too much for a RB
 
I should say that they are throwing to Bell, he's on pace for 77 receptions, but they are just dump offs. He's an afterthought. His value is that he can run WR routes and be a matchup problem. I haven't seen the Jets doing that with him.

They are doing it it seems teams are doing a much better job covering him. He’s never get open and there’s always someone On him.
