With the Ravens going into Seattle and beating them today, I think we can all agree that barring injury to Jackson, they are a lock to win the division. That fumble by Juju pretty much defined our chances this year. Sucks that one play had that much impact...

That said; if we go on a run, we will pretty much have to win every AFC game we have left.

That one play didn't have that much impact. If we had a defense that didn't collapse regularly in the 4th qtr, we would be comfortably on top of the division. Steelers defense played great against the Ravens.... for three quarters. When they absolutely needed to stop them in the 4th, they let Jackson drive the Ravens into FG range to send the game into OT. Watching the Ravens-Seahawks game you see how a real defense holds a 4th qtr lead.

They have the Patriots, 49ers, Bills and Rams to play, plus the Browns in Cleveland. We have a decent chance to be at least within a game of them for the final game showdown. The Seahawks and Wilson showed why they're overrated today. It ain't over.

WhoAly **** batman, if the sun keeps coming up everyday does that mean the sky isn't falling...........

To the OP, if you want to conceed the division go right ahead but don't act like all are included in your chicken little beleifs. There is still al lot of season and our beloved STEELERS are trending upwards. Obviously the "D" is coming together as it should but I see life within the "O" as well. With the return of our QB we should elevate even more. Interesting tidbit, I thought I heard Mason has 7 passing TD in about 2 1/2 games of play while baker mayfield has 6 on the year.........

Edit: just looked it up and confirmed 7 TD for Mason and it's OK to look up because the sky really isn't falling.

Awesome Zona, never gets tiring seeing that. Weather our STEELERS are successful or not doesn't hing on other teams play but on our own play. If we keep trending up as the season progresses we have a shot of being there in the end.

I’m optimistic that we can make the playoffs but I just don’t see us winning more games that the Ravens at this point. My point of the post was to see what the consensus is on us winning 6 or 7 of the 8 remaining AFC games. I think we will take one of the 2 NFC games.

I noticed that up 2 scores with just minutes left to play in the game, they were letting Lamar Jackson run around still. Buncha geniuses over there. Crown their ***!

We currently have a worse record than the Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions, Jaguars and Titans. We are even with a host of other ****** teams. All I am hoping for is that the Steelers beat the Dolphins. Not going to make proclamations about the division when we are 2.5 games back and a loss to the division leader already. Could it happen? I suppose, but I see it as unlikely at this point.

this is the best defense is the best it has been in 10 years. we just need to realize we are a defense team now. offense just cant **** up and lose games

Agree BLITZ, our "D" is ramping up as it should and with our best QB coming back the "O" will continue its upward spiral. It would be nice if a WR could make a step up. Can you hear me Mr. Moncrief ? Another BIG factor is our coaching needs that additional elevation as well. All said, I still see the division is up for grabs.

Go Buckeyes!

We wont win a wildcard spot. Our best hope is the division crown, and then its on the road for the playoffs with no bye week. That's the best we could hope for.

Playoff hope's lol. I think the Jim Mora video is appropriate here somewhere.

Whatever gets you all through the season.

2-4...win next game 3-4...win next game 4-4 at last .500! In numerous seasons over the last 8 or so years we have lost to bottom dwellers. Since we're technically swimming in the mud we should win.

That's my hopeful logic.

1 game at a time.

Wildcard....

Lets see if we can win 5 games.
