Glad he is creating turnovers and is always around the ball.
I just would like to see him improve on his tackling...... too many missed tackles for a high priced talent

He created 1 TO.. the int. And it was tipped at the line by the DL. All of his fumble recoveries were from other players forcing them. He has 0 FF on the season. But yes he is always around the ball. That's better than what we have had in the past.

Congrats Devin you are progressing nicely!

Devin is great at cleaning up loose ends, but as Vader said he missed alot of tackles last game especially in the second half.

Dang, tough crit here....Dude is 10th in the WHOLE LEAGUE in tackles as a rook...........

He was nursing an injury...................

That's were stats can be deceiving. Where are the tackles? A lot of his tackles are 5+ yards down the field. Also some of the worst defenses have leading tacklers. AZ's MLB leads the league in tackles. Is he great? No, the defense can't get off the field.

I don't care how many tackles he has. I just don't want them 10 yards down the field.

Our D is statistically climbing up the list. Improving. And he is still making tackles. Not sure "a lot" of his tackles are 5+ yards down the field. perhaps some...........

They are starting to use him properly.

That's the result of being around the ball so often, so naturally you'll see a few whiffs. When we had Bostic there were less whiffs, because he was never there.

Don't get me wrong .... I am very happy with his production overall and I don't expect him to make every tackle. I just want him to win situations where he clearly has good position to make a tackle or at least help slow the offensive player a bit until help arrives. He is well on his way to achieving the goals I thought he could attain. I am more happy that the DEF as a whole has shown signs of improvement in a number of areas and I believe guys like Bush, Watt and Fitzpatrick will continue to lead this unit forward.

TJ knows what's up:

He already has one more career DPW than Jarvis Durpee.

hopefully 1st of many to come!

Guy is going to break all kinds of records this year if he keeps at this pace. I do agree with the tackling technique. A lot of guys look bad doing that across the league. That's on the coaches who need to be much better teachers.

Two words; GO LOW

Yep, go low and wrap 'em up.
