Charger's play Renegade during 4th Quarter

Thought Kroenke flipped the bill for the stadium?

That's my fault, I've been used to hearing about all the stadiums being built on the shoulders of taxpayers, but you're right, this is apparently 100% privately funded:

Moreover, after decades in which taxpayers shouldered much of the cost of new sports arenas, the privately funded stadium is being closely watched as a potential new model for first-rate NFL venues built without public subsidies.

I heard Kroenke agreed to invest 1.6 billion and now the price tag looks to be 5 billion (just at this point). Sorry Omar. :confusion:

This is awesome. One of my best Steeler memories was when we took over the Vikings stadium 07-08 (??). Baldy coach (damn memory. I can see him now. Former Baltimore coach) chastised the Vikings fan base for selling out to us. We took over that town. On the way home we stopped at a wendy's quick. The staff and ONE local family looked terrified as 30 or so of us sang "Here we go Steelers". It was very cool. I remember the score though. Steelers 18-3.

Ok it was actually 05-06 season and Mike Tice was the coach. I dont know where I got Baltimore in my head as a former team he coached.

Yeah Kroenke is an extremely wealthy guy. I think the NFL also pitched in to help pay. They know how much money a big stadium in LA gives the league. Problem is really will the fans support the Rams? We know the Chargers won't ever fill that stadium unless its opposing fans.

I knew it was bad, but after watching Sunday night, holy ****, what an embarrassment for them.

Let's be real, you don't pay a ******* dime for that stadium, while I do. So go **** yourself.

And **** the Rams while you're doing it.

shove that stadium up your ***, i don't give a flying **** what you "pay for", you sanctimonious **********.
